After each cleaning the carpet looks and smells great, the dry-time is reasonable, and each cleaning has excellent "staying power". The service given by the technicians is always top notch as well. He could not have been more polite and careful in my home explaining each thing I ordered - cleaning chairs and cleaning and protecting my bedroom carpet. Our carpet was really bad this year and I didn't really have a lot of hope, but it looks and smells fantastic. It was also completely dry very quickly. No chemical smell, no perfume smell. Just really clean. I have severe allergies and had no problem with this product at all- in fact, I actually feel better.
