Our daughter has been attending Lightbridge for a little over a year and it has been nothing short of amazing. Everyone on the staff has shown such care for our daughter. The administration is so friendly and is always available to answer any questions we have. The classroom team treats my daughter with such kindness and she has learned so much in her time at Lightbridge. If we had to make the choice over again, I have no doubt we would still choose Lightbridge.
I love everything possible about this school. The staff are all family to my family. All 3 of my children attended this school since 6 months old. My oldest is graduating from the Kindergarten class and has made some of the best memories in the school. My 3 year old twins are also in preschool and are thriving! Super safe, clean, and organized school. Children are always well taken care of and doing amazing activities amongst peers. 10/10 recommend this facility for any family!
I love this program. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe and loving place for a child of any age! Everyone is so warm and welcoming. I started my daughter when she was 4 months old and I was so nervous about leaving her. The team at the Edison LBA made it so easy. My daughter loved them and i could feel they loved her as well. It made my having to go back to work so much easier. I truly feel like they are an extension of our family.
High turnover teachers not following class rules and engaging with kids. Not very clean. Students are not known as individuals but as seats that pay tuition.
There are a lot of kids in classes when classes combine at the end of the day. Classrooms are somewhat untidy when I come to fetch my kids. Please improve this, floors are untidy, bad odours in classrooms. Years ago when we first visited, you could smell the cleanliness all day round. Perhaps schedule regular mop ups throughout the day to keep the beautiful facility in great condition at all times.
The program is very flexible and suits our needs. Our child is doing very well there and loves her teachers. We want to shoutout Ms Nadedge for being so kind and always having time to discuss our child’s day.
The curriculum
1.Organization & Presentation
If schoolwork is coming home ripped, folded, or crammed in a bookbag, that shows poor organization and lack of care.
* papers should be stored neatly
* work should come home in folders
* projects should be protected
* parents should be able to clearly see progress
It may seem small, but sloppy presentation reflects sloppy systems.
2. Better Food Quality
For expensive tuition, lunch should be better planned and more diverse, not the same repetitive food.
Parents should not be paying premium rates for weak food options from local store & canned fruits
Meals should be:
* balanced
* consistent
* nutritious
* better quality
* not repetitive, low-effort filler food
The staff is incredibly friendly and they created an environment that our son absolutely loves.
I really appreciate how the VPK program challenges Jillian in all the right ways. She’s learning so much academically, but also growing socially and emotionally. Her teachers recognize her maturity and give her opportunities to shine, which has helped her become more confident and independent. It’s clear that the curriculum is intentional and developmentally appropriate.
I am very happy with the curriculum, the warmth of the teachers, the safety precautions taken and the programs extra curricular activities.
Teachers are attentive and they care about the emotional wellbeing of the kiddos. The administration works tirelessly to create a vibrant community for the kiddos and their families. Thankful to Lightbridge.
We love all of the teachers and staff at Lightbridge. They genuinely know our children and care about them. My kids love going to school every day!
In Green Frogs, Miss Hope and Miss Yami have created a fun learning environment that is getting my daughter ready for kindergarten. She has a strong sense of phonics, is starting to read, and loves doing math problems in her head. We credit her teachers for these building blocks that will enable her to thrive when she is in K next year.
Orange Giraffes was a great classroom for my younger daughter, and I'm very happy with Khaki Kangaroos now as well. It's hard to lead a group of strong-willed 2 year olds, but all of the teachers did a great job of keeping the classroom under control while still respecting the individual needs and development stages of each child.
I do love it my douther is very happy with everybody
Thanks for being accommodating to all of our family’s scheduling needs!
I love how small the school seems; all the teachers seem to know my daughters name even if she hasn’t been in their class yet.
The program here is exceptional. The curriculum is well-executed, and our child is thriving thanks to the genuine affection shown by the entire staff—not just those in their classroom. We especially appreciate the director’s accessibility and willingness to collaborate on adjustments. This isn't just a school; it’s a dynamic partnership in our child’s early education.
The teachers have been very caring and communicative. They have great events and activities all oriented toward the kids! The facility is very nice! My kids transitioned so well from their last daycare to this one and I think that is very much due to the staff being intentional about making them feel comfortable.
Teachers are great, school is clean
All of our children’s teachers have been incredible but a few stand out more recently. Miss Amber has been a longtime favorite of our kids, and both of them still talk about her by name even after transitioning out of her classroom. She is so kind, warm, bubbly and nurturing. More recently. with Avery switching into Miss Margie’s classroom, we have found another amazing teacher. Margie does an incredible job at fostering independence, sharing knowledge and creating a caring environment for learning. She always has a smile on her face and gives the best morning greetings. Gigi is also the sweetest and playful with the kids. Avery loves talking about things Miss Margie and Miss Gigi do and say. They make a wonderful team.
Miss Hope & Miss Yami have helped my daughter shine, she's more nervous and quiet and they have helped her feel safe and really empowered this year. They have experienced many changes in the class and I'm so grateful for their steady support where my daughter feels loved.
Miss Amber's class is also great, my daughter is a wild child and they have helped her learn more kindness while empowering her.
Thanks for supporting my family as a working mom, it takes a village and I appreciate this village!
We’ve had a wonderful experience with Lightbridge Academy with all three of our boys. My boys are always happy at pick-up and genuinely excited to go in each morning, which says everything about how comfortable and engaged they feel in their classrooms. The teachers are incredibly helpful, caring, and supportive. They take the time to get to know each child and create a warm, positive environment. It gives me real peace of mind knowing my kids are in such good hands every day.
We are so happy about everything in LBA. We are so sorry we are relocating to FL
The teachers are really welcoming and supportive. I love the environment and you are free to discuss topics with the Teachers, Management etc., and they are great in seeking feedbacks and implementing the changes appropriately.
Provide consistent teachers in the classroom- there is a lot of overturn.
Provide daily or weekly report cards for the individual child, not just an overview of the possible curriculum.
Reduce or limit cost. The cost has been increasing on unavoidable activities (Summer camp, tuition, graduation)
The teachers really, and noticeably, care about the kids and put so much effort into the lesson plans and activities they do in class. I feel like my daughter is safe and also having a genuinely good time at school!
Leadership turnover has been frequent and poorly communicated
Among a few minor resolved incidents, there is the cost, which is outrageous for 1 child to be in daycare not even full time. And then every activity is an added cost, including food, which I would expect to be built in to the already outrageous cost. Strongly considering leaving & haven't enrolled my 2nd because of the cost
Inconsistent teachers. Parents not informed of any changes or who the teachers are. Potty training is not happening. Have to tell teachers a million times and they still don’t do it. Add more teachers per class, not have to stick to ratio especially in classes where potty training is supposed to be happening…

The care the staff has for the children is top notch. They are so sweet and communicative which is very important for us. So grateful for such an amazing school.
