We have had a very positive experience overall. The staff is incredibly flexible and truly works with us as a team to support our children’s development. We appreciate how open everyone is to both giving and receiving feedback, and it’s clear that the focus is always on what’s best for the kids.
The only area for improvement we’ve noticed is communication around new or temporary staff. With recent changes, it sometimes took a while to learn names or understand who our child’s primary teachers were, especially with the use of floaters. That said, every teacher we’ve interacted with has been wonderful, caring, and capable, so this is more about clarity than quality.
Overall, we feel supported, listened to, and confident that our children are in great hands.
We love Lightbridge, especially Bria Browne! She makes everything amazing!
Everything! The teachers have been amazing to my kids. Office administrators are attentive. Facility is clean.
I like how much it prepares kids for school and how much they do and learn.
The teachers are attentive and responsive to our child’s individual needs, meeting her where she is developmentally and emotionally, and actively supporting her growth. The staff creates an environment where she feels safe, confident, and cared for.
Everything about the program has had such a huge impact on my son! He’s been at Lightbridge since he was 9 months old (currently 2) and I’m honestly so grateful for the teachers and daycare attendees. I am especially grateful for Ms Natalie and Ms Marisa in purple cats! My son adores them and has grown/learned so much from being in their class. The learning structure has really helped him develop his speech and knowledge beyond his age. Theyre both super attentive and caring, and I get along really well with them which makes leaving my son in their care so easy. I’d recommend Lightbridge time and time again.
I love how they make all these creative projects and have something happening all the time for the kids. The teachers are absolutely amazing to my boy and the admin definitely knows everything that goes on. Everyone is willing to support and help in any way possible. They make my anxiety leaving my child while my husband and I go to work every day a whole lot easier.
I love how I get pictures of my baby every day. I can see how much he is learning he is doing. It makes me happy.

My 2 YO son has learned and grown so much since starting at Lightbridge. The teachers and Director are amazing and take such great care of my little one- I'm so grateful they give me comfort and confidence in leaving him in good hands.
The transition was so easy for my 2 year old daughter thanks to her teachers who are so nurturing, caring and patient. Their team work reflects as well as their dedication to all children. All of my daughter’s teachers are amazing, but from the very beginning she’s had a special connection with Mrs. Priscila. Every time when I leave her in her classroom I leave with peace of mind because I know she is taken care of and so loved by her teachers. All staff at LB is overall great and friendly!
what i love most about Lightbridge is that the kids and staff are equally as happy to see each other every morning!
I love long-standing teachers, and the ability to watch my child grow through camera access.
My daughter loves going to her class everyday. They are very welcoming. She has learned a lot and we see her progress in so many ways. Her Teachers Mrs. Monaco and Mr. Alex are amazing.
Amazing teachers who are knowledgeable with the development of your child.
The infant room at times I feel like the teachers seem rushed/stressed. Maybe the ratios can be improved? Also I think sending infants home for early pickup needs a more standardized protocol (fever threshold/ vomit threshold). Feels at times it's changed
We have been so happy with our time at Lightbridge. It has been such a relief to drop our daughter off every morning knowing that she loves school and the staff will take such good care of her. All the mobile infants teachers, especially Ms. Dana and Ms. Pam have been amazing and they have great communication. They have helped us to set her up for success and they celebrate all of her accomplishments. She also loves to visit her past teachers in young infants, including Ms. Maria and Miss Maddy. There are too many to name but we appreciate everyone who interacts with her and how much they care

If you could improve how you send notifications and put general notifications on the "Now" page instead of the "Moments" tab, it would be helpful (when we see notifications come through on the Moments tab or in the Messages inbox, it looks like a personal update rather than a general one, and I will drop everything to check it thinking there's something I need to know right away.
More stable teachers are needed. A school curriculum needs to be followed so kids are learning.
Some of the teachers seem burnt out and therefore attention to some things are lacking

Hi I am a mom of two Lightbridge Academy of Scarsdale toddler students. They were so young when they started here and they learned and thrived a lot.
I want to thank you to Renata, Johnna, Hayley, Elena, and all teachers taking care of our kids in Goldfish, Grey Elephants, Mobile Infants B, Infants B. Lightbridge Academy of Scarsdale is the best daycare. We are so lucky to be here.
I just have full confidence that my son is being well cared for by professional staff who truly care about the children.
I like the location, the classrooms, the overall setup, the daily schedule, the teachers, the admin team, and the daily schedule. I think lightbridge has a great program and is very clear and professional when it comes to communication and responsiveness. We like how all of our teachers have been amazing, attentive to detail, and genuinely care for our son.
Everyone in the office and classroom teachers are approachable. The kids do various activities throughout the day that are age-appropriate and engaging.
Lightbridge Academy of Glenside is amazing! Jaclyn and the admin team go above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. They have worked with us on numerous occasions to make sure we have the best classroom set up for both of our children. Every teacher we’ve encountered is engaged and make sure every kid feels seen as an individual. I don’t know how they have the energy to do it all day! We would pick Lightbridge over and over again.
I love the administrative staff. They are consistent and available. They know us by name. They have children who attend the school as well so you know they are personally invested in how it provides for children’s education and safety. They work with you when you need assistance. I feel like my child can thrive here.
We love the Seedlings curriculum, the staff and the flexibility.
I could not say enough amazing things about this childcare center. From the moment we enrolled, we felt completely confident that our son was in the best hands possible. The teachers especially those in the mobile and young infant rooms were truly exceptional. They were patient, kind, and incredibly attentive, and it was clear they genuinely loved what they did and cared deeply for every child. Our little one lit up each morning when we arrived, and that spoke volumes.
The transition into the one-year-old room was wonderful. The front office staff notified me of everything needed prior to the start day, making the process smooth and stress-free. Ms. Amaya is very welcoming and kind, and my son doesn’t even cry during the transition. The class had such amazing activities for his first day. Ms. Amaya even went above and beyond by posting a welcome note in the app along with a picture of my son, which absolutely made my day and meant so much to our family. I am updated with his progress throughout the day, which gives me so much peace of mind.
The owner,director, and front office staff are equally wonderful. They always greet us with a smile, take the time to listen to feedback, and are quick to offer support whenever we need it. Their communication is excellent, and it’s clear they truly value families’ trust and partnership.
It is such a relief knowing our child is safe, loved, and learning every day in such a nurturing environment. We are beyond grateful to have found this center. It truly feels like an extension of our family. 💛
I would like to nominate Ms. Amanda for teacher of the year. She truly goes above and beyond for her students and has had an incredibly positive impact on their growth and development. Ms. Amanda takes the time to understand and support each child’s individual needs. She is an exceptional teacher who helps her students build strong foundations in reading, math, and other essential skills, all while making learning engaging and effective. Thank you Ms. Amanda!
