Lightbridge is an amazing school it’s just too expensive
My son's teacher is the most loving, attentive, caring, and wonderful teacher that I could ever ask for. The office staff takes care of my kids and my family - and I feel like Lightbridge has given me the gift of a caring community as I raise my kids. I am deeply grateful!
Would not recommend to anyone anymore for a few reasons. What remains consistent through out the 2.5 years is the communication with the morning and afternoon shift. When our family brings up a concern or a mention for my child’s care 90% of the time the teachers say “that was the earlier shift I don’t know anything about xyz”. It doesn’t feel promising when my child’s care is heard and then met with a response like that. The impression from those interactions feels careless.
The second thing is the WiFi being inconsistent, I wouldn’t recommend parents to enroll without the camera feature because the Lightbridge app isn’t updated consistently and delayed due to the WiFi being inconsistent.
Lastly, for the “flu/cold season” this year some weeks they want us to take our children’s clothing for deep cleaning/sanitation to over the weekend, other weekends the teachers don’t mind the clothing to stay over the weekend.
Recently, our child had a temperature of 100.1 in the handbook it shows if a child has a fever of 100.4 the child has to be sent home and cannot return to LBA.
an hour later, without a proper documentation of dismissal and by parents choice of bringing our son home to take Tylenol to manage the fever and then return- we were told to keep our child home by phone.
An hour after that there was an announcement of the “illness policy” being a bit more strict than normal because there is a peak. After bringing up to Nina’s attention if the handbook says 100.4 fever and he had 100.1 we believed our child can return to class after taking Tylenol to manage-she explained to us how there were no exceptions. We understood how serious this was being enforced after speaking with Nina.
That same day when we went to pick up our child’s bag to our surprise the teachers did not send his extra clothing home. It felt very inconsistent with how strict the “illness policy” is being enforced that a deep cleaning wasn’t happening the same weekend the “illness policy” was announced and action was already taking place same day.
Thank you for asking for feedback we really appreciate the opportunity to let you know ways this location can improve.
Teachers are knowledgeable about the kids they take care of. Enthusiastic and seem to genuinely care about my child. Clean facilities, well organized, trustworthy.
Great community feel. Friendly staff.
Caring staff
While we found all the teachers and the admin staff very warm, there are a few things that i would love to see improved at Lightbridge.
1. Snacks and food - cheeseballs, goldfish, veggie sticks some of these things are not something that i want my 15 month old to eat. Many times snack options are very limited and repeated. Instead of packaged items, more fruits/proteins/healthy fats/grains are what recommended for toddlers at this age by WHO. Many other schools offer more wholesome food and snack options.
2. Lunch - i hate to see my kid having to eat cold lunches. If there was a way to warm the food on a needed basis, that would be great. I would have expected a warm lunch provided by the scholl in the amount of tuition paid. Again many other schools provide lunches at this tuition.
3. Progress report - A progress report for my kid would be helpful. Kids spend more time at the school than at home. A progress report including all the basic skills children need at their age is helpful for parents to know how they are growing. This is again offered by other schools.
I feel like my daughter is learning a lot. I love that they are teaching her sign language and they do a lot of art projects
We truly appreciate how the school listens to our concerns and responds thoughtfully to any issues we raise. The communication and support mean a lot to our family. We especially love Kayla—she has been wonderful with our daughter, and her care and kindness truly stand out.
Admin and the staff. All very caring and seem to really care about the kids.
The teachers and staff are the very best! We've been here since day one and could not be happier - we are even sending our Kindergartener back for summer camp because he loves it at LBA so much, and so do we. Thank you for loving and nurturing my kiddos!
The Blue Horse teachers continue to impress me - they are committed to creative learning techniques each week. I feel like my child is learning and being set up for success. The front office staff also does a great job of communicating, and they are very approachable if we ever have questions.
Everything is amazing! Communication, staff, curriculum
We are grateful for the team members from Lightbridge Academy. The teachers and admin are caring and also strong people who are always trying to give the best to our kids and families. Thank you for your hard work and support.
The curriculum is one of a kind, it teaches my children so much that my own family can’t believe my kids know Spanish and sign language. They’re so amazed by the things my kids know, thanks to Lightbridge!
The teachers and programming are great. There is not a lot of turnover here and I am very grateful. That always says something.
I deeply appreciate the Lightbridge program for the creative autonomy it offers teachers, allowing me to foster early childhood development through engaging, hands-on learning strategies.
We absolutely love the teachers and staff. You all have done a great job of finding the right people to work there. My kids feel safe, protected, respected, welcome and cared for. As a parent that is most important to me. I see them developing every day and I attribute that to the teachers and the curriculum.
I love the safety, camera access, no trips , secure entrance with face recognition, I love the learn curriculum, teachers, staff, cleanliness of the building. My son loves it he has been there since he was 2 and he is now 4.
Nothing but positive feedback.
I love the engagement that teachers have with the children. My child was potty trained effectively and has developed socially and emotionally while enrolled at Lightbridge. I can tell that the teachers care!
we love Ms. Kaylin! she has been amazing. i have had no issues with this class, she has great communication, always engages the kids, takes the kids outside twice a day, does activities. i’m very pleased with this class. the only thing that could “improve” in this class is if we got better photo updates other than food and playground. i know ms kaylin takes pictures of the kids when they do activities and sometimes posts them but it’s not always, and now that i’m back at work i can’t watch the cameras 24/7 so when i have busy days at work and can only rely on the app to know what they did for the day, id like to see activities. the photos aren’t make or break bc i know ms kaylin is soooo busy - just something that would make my mom heart happy lol. i also want to mention she did a phenomenal job hosting the holiday party.
in infants i have had no real issues. ms. francesa posts so many photo updates & does so many activities with the kids it’s obvious she loves her job.she updates the app and communicates when diapers and wipes are needed which i appreciate. she always sends home the cutest art from cameron which i love. victoria is also a great help and you can tell she cares about the kids. i haven’t formed a full opinion on ms ellie yet but she doesn’t check all the boxes for me. i don’t find her to be warm or nurturing at all. the very first day i walked in to take cameron she said “i thought he was starting wednesday”… that’s not how i wanted to be greeted on the first day ever dropping off my infant who’s been with me for the past 6 months.. i don’t ever see her playing with cameron or cuddling him like i see the other teachers but maybe that’s her personality im not sure. either way - the other two teachers keep me happy enough and i would recommend infant class to others. she actually has yet to say a word to me anytime i walk in the classroom so she’s really strange to me for that. like i said - not warm, nurturing or welcoming at all.
Lightbridge Academy provides a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where my children are truly cared for and supported. The staff consistently demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and a genuine commitment to each child’s growth, helping them feel confident, secure, and excited to learn every day. I especially appreciate the strong communication, high educational standards, and the way Lightbridge partners with families to support both academic and social-emotional development. Knowing my children are in such a positive, well-structured environment gives me peace of mind and makes Lightbridge Academy feel like an extension of our family.
Just about everything
Love the care and attention my son receives
We really appreciate the staff at the main office: Ms. Sierra and Ms. Kathryn. Although I was very sad about Ms. Michelle’s departure, I feel reassured by Ms. Sierra’s leadership, she is kind, supportive, and excellent at her job. Ms. Kathryn is wonderful and friendly as well.
Our recent experiences with Ms. Sam, Ms. Aniya, and Ms. Yasmeen have also been fantastic. We truly appreciate them.
I love the lovely teachers, they’re always greeting with smiles
As my daughter has grown, the curriculum has been so helpful - I know she is learning so much in this program!

Organized, clean, helpful staff
