My kids have enough structure throughout the day without it being too rigid. They are learning skills that I definitely wouldn't have ever thought to teach them!
lightbridge doylestown has a “home-like” feeling walking in each morning! each and every staff member knowing my sons name, and giving a smile and wave each passing really goes a long way. i also really appreciate such detailed updates at pick up time! i leave each day knowing my son has been cared for and noticed :)
The parking lot is small and the spaces in the parking lot are smaller than average. A larger play area would be nice. Knowing that there are cameras, workers have picked up items such as pacifiers and bottles that have fallen on the floor or have been sitting on the floor for five minutes and put them back in children’s mouths without any type of sanitation.
I like all of the teachers, admin office, classroom facilities, and how attentive our teacher is to taking care of our aon.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about my son’s teachers, Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Natasha. From the very first day, they have created such a warm, loving, and nurturing environment where he has truly thrived. Their patience, kindness, and genuine care for each child are evident in everything they do.
They have helped my son grow not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well. He comes home excited to share what he’s learned, and it’s clear how much time, creativity, and dedication they put into making each day engaging and meaningful.
As a parent, there is no greater comfort than knowing your child is loved, encouraged, and cared for while you’re away. They have treated my son with so much compassion and have made his first school experience one our family will always cherish.
Thank you for your endless hard work, your encouragement, and the positive impact you’ve had on my son’s life. We are incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done and will always remember the difference you’ve made. Any child would be lucky to have teachers as amazing as you both!

I will not recommend this day are to anyone long as the Director Gerri Kelly is the leader she doesn’t know how to lead by example it’s very un organized at all times never enough staff my baby had been Gerri g hit on by the same kid and not g was never done about that my baby bump her head several times the last straw fir me my baby fell off the chair hit her head on a table at 10:50 I wasn’t notified until 4:13 while the director Gerri has left the premises but called me I. Her personal phone telling me she forgot to call me she lied on me saying I cursed her out but she aggressively told me to exit the building while I’m waiting in the accident report this was my 1st day care I placed my baby in and I regret leaving her in there the time we attended
Teachers are fantastic!
Overall communication is good but I feel like I sometimes will get updates about new teachers (floating ones) but not get updates about changes to teachers in my child's actual classroom
Teachers and admin are great! Teachers are consistent and great with the kids and the admin team is responsive and supportive.
Our family has had an amazing experience with Lightbridge Academy of Rutherford, and we are so grateful for everyone who has been part of our son's journey.
Starting daycare for the first time was a big transition for him and for us. The teachers showed so much patience, kindness, and encouragement that he settled in much faster than we expected. Today he looks forward to school every morning and often doesn't want to leave at pickup, which says everything about how happy and secure he feels.
A special thank you to the wonderful Khaki Kangaroo teachers—Ms. Priscila, Ms. Yudely, Ms. Elizabeth, and Ms. Jaida. Each of them has made a unique impact on our son. From creating a structured and nurturing classroom, to providing comfort when he needed it, to making learning fun through songs, dancing, and engaging activities, they've helped him grow in so many ways.
Beyond that, we've seen tremendous growth in his confidence, independence, and manners. He has learned to follow routines, clean up after himself, and take pride in doing things on his own. The teachers also guided us through the potty training, and we truly don't think we could have reached that milestone so quickly without their guidance and support.
I'd also like to recognize the administration team. They have always been friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful whenever we've had questions or needed assistance. It's no doubt that everyone at Lightbridge genuinely cares about the children and their families.
Thank you to the entire Lightbridge Academy of Rutherford team for making our son's first school experience such a positive one. We couldn't have asked for a better place for him to learn and grow.
My children love it here. My oldest is in the summer camp. My middle child is getting ready to move up to preschool and my youngest is going to be in a young toddler classroom. I absolutely love the way the staff treat my children and I love the communication. Wouldn't go any where else.
I feel you should focus more on academics rather than passing time of kids.

The new administration is not transparent about the age range for each classroom
They change their narrative every time and do not want to give parents a clear answer as to when the child moves from one class to another.
Even though they say a certain range, there are students above or below that range in the class. The rosters and the parents show the real truth.
Teachers are so friendly. The kids are actually learning and happy to be there
Barely posts anything on lightbridge app pertaining to our child- no meal time or nap time info or pictures of activities like they used to. Truly it’s been a big issue from the start but zero effort now. Evening snack is not distributed daily and not for every child. Some children get a snack and some don’t and they’re split between classes in the evening. Alerts not on time, if they cancel an activity the alert was posted after it would have started. Other than those issues it’s a great school and nice staff
Open communication is key and I have received it from the admin team and my boys teachers. I appreciate that my thoughts and suggestions are always heard and met with respect and a solution.
My boys teachers genuinely care for my children, and it is evident. Every time I look on ParentView, I see someone hugging them, helping them through a rough drop off, or sitting with them. Not only have I seen with with their teachers, but with administration as well. All of this does not go unnoticed, my husband and I are very appreciative of the care our children receive.
The pleasant staff, the security within the school and the cleanliness throughout the whole building
We have had our son at LBGV since July 2021. We have always felt like family there. The experience that is given is top of the line. They care not only about your child but your entire family as well! We love the new addition that was recently added as it gives the center an indoor play room to utilize on days where its bad weather and for them to encourage special events!
All of the staff are phenomenal! They truly love and care for your child. The curriculum focuses on the development of the whole child not just some aspects to get them through the day.
We would choose Lightbridge Academy time and time again!
Logistically I love the ability to take a look at my daughter’s classroom via the cameras and love the updates we get via the app. The best part is our daughter’s teacher, Miss Genesis - you can tell how much she really cares about our daughter. My daughter loves her so much and lights up whenever she sees her.
The high turnover is very frustrating. Seems like recently it’s been very high and the level of care with new staff is just not there.
Activities done by newer staff seems to be just for the iPad pictures.
Also would love to see sugar free options for the snacks for the littles.
We truly appreciate this program, and the teachers and administration are wonderful. My main concern is improving security. I’ve observed how easily people can sneak in behind others when entering the building, such as holding the door open for strangers. It would be much safer if someone was stationed at the front desk at all times to check in visitors. Nowadays, with how unpredictable people can be, strangers can easily follow parents inside. Additionally, I was first informed about the shooting outside through Facebook, indicating a delay in communication. Lastly, the number of teachers compared to students on some days seems excessive. Overall, I would recommend tightening security around parent access to the building.
Great staff, great program.
Parent and family involvement at the center would make for a great experience for children and families in general. Taking the time and money to also create in house events would make our kids experience more memorable!
I can’t say enough great things about the staff and teachers. They truly care for my daughter and always make her feel safe, loved, and welcomed. Her teachers are so attentive, patient, and nurturing, and it’s clear they genuinely love what they do.
Since starting here, my daughter has grown and improved so much. She looks forward to seeing her teachers every single day, and that gives me so much peace of mind as a parent. Knowing she’s in such caring hands means the world to me. I’m so grateful for everything they do and highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a loving and supportive environment.
I’ve been disappointed with the leadership experience at the Elmsford center. It’s a place I used to recommend often to friends, but over time I’ve found myself less confident doing so. While some leaders, such as Ranisha, are truly exceptional, I haven’t always felt the same level of engagement or commitment across the broader leadership team to the quality of care and experience that families expect and deserve.
That said, I know there are many dedicated individuals at the center, and I remain hopeful that continued focus on leadership, communication, and accountability will help strengthen the experience for families and restore the confidence that made this center stand out in the past.
I love that they love my baby! My son has seen two classes at the school so far, and every teacher who he had truly mad a difference in the baby I have. He hated school prior to coming here and it has made a world of difference finding a team who can love, encourage and support him. I saw improvements in his potty training (almost instantly btw) and his mood with Ms. Ruth and Ms. Kelly. When he moved to the Blue Horses classroom, I was scared and he immediately fell in love with his new teacher there. Gerri and Juana have truly made a difference in that school, and it’s one I truly appreciate.
For the past 2 1/2 years, this daycare has been such an incredible blessing for our family. From the very beginning, the teachers and staff have created a loving, safe, and nurturing environment where both of my children have truly flourished. Watching them grow over the years has been amazing. They have learned so much! not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. Every day they've been encouraged to explore, develop kindness, and become more independent. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about each child and pour so much love, patience, and dedication into what they do. Thank you to everyone for loving our children as if they were your own and for helping shape them into the wonderful little people they are becoming. We will always be thankful for these past 2 1/2 years and highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a place where their children will truly thrive!
Our son has attended LightBridge Wyomissing since he’s 4 months old. There have been transitions along the way that were difficult, but ultimately we are very happy with the facility, staff, and care he receives. We have been able to communicate with staff regarding concerns and have seen positive changes. The discussions have led to conducive outcomes for both us and them and we are grateful for that. Our son is so happy and well cared for. We truly appreciate the staff assigned to him.
My son has learned more than I ever expected at his age and I'm so grateful for that.
