In the new class, I’m observing low energy and limited active engagement from staff, with more supervising from a seated position than initiating or joining play. My daughter is a bit less enthusiastic about school, and there appear to be fewer structured, teacher-led, energetic activities. The lunch menu have not improved, which is an important part of the day, this is why I've changed to just pizza Fridays starting in December. Also, I would like to highlight that at her age, she still needs support after using the restroom—we need to ensure staff consistently prompt and check hygiene.
The teachers at Lightbridge Academy are truly amazing. Every day, they create a safe and joyful environment where she feels valued and excited to learn. Their patience, kindness, and genuine love for the children shine through in everything they do—whether they’re guiding activities, offering comfort, or celebrating each child’s growth. Knowing that my daughter is surrounded by such dedicated and caring educators gives me so much peace of mind, and I’m deeply grateful for the positive impact they make in her life.
They take great care of our 4 month old, and the updates are nice to have. They provide excellent end of day reports and feedback.
I like that I can see my son throughout the day, his teachers, Ms. Anjum, Ms. Rita & Ms. Kim are all fantastic. I love the update throughout the day about activities done and the pictures are awesome.
Cost is higher than other franchises in the area and does not included anything additional such as diapers/meals. The curriculum does not appear to be much different/better to justify the cost. The “mobile infant” description does not fit the classroom since most (if not all) are toddlers. It feels like a scam to justify the price remaining the same when transitioning to the class.
There is very little communication regarding the daily activity. When comparing the live stream to the pictures posted in the portal, most are within the same period of time. I need to depend on watching the livestream to get accurate updates on my son’s day, which is not ideal for a working parent. (Note - this is only my experience in the mobile infant classroom, the infant class was excellent with communication among many other things.) However, my son is hitting every milestone, and appears to be having fun throughout the day. He is happy at drop off and sometimes does not what to go home during pick-up, and he seems to be building relationships with the other children.
There is zero communication from the Administrators when there are staffing changes in the classroom. For example, when I watch on live stream, there are staff members whom I have never seen before caring for my child. I was made aware when a new lead started, but I did not know when another teacher left and a new started. Recently the director resigned, but left prior to her notice date. This was not shared with the parents, which makes it appear as if management is hiding some serious internal problems.
Accident/incident report - we are typically not made aware when our child is hurt until we pick him up and there is a report to sign (which is about 3-4 times a week). When he was in the infant classroom, they would send a message through the portal which was much appreciated. Also - there was a time when my son came home with a bite mark, which was not reported. I sent an email with a picture and it was never addressed.
Yello ducks Too much TV time. Three times a day. I don't know how long each tv session is. But still too much for a 3-4 uear old.
The comfort they gave us knowing our daughter would be safe and cared for. We love how the teachers communicate with us.
Clean, organized, welcoming, great activities for all age groups.
I really like how much the kids learn here, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. All of the teachers are approachable, patient, and truly care about the children. The office staff is also wonderful and always helpful. The environment feels welcoming, safe, and supportive, and I can see how much my kids enjoy coming every day. Thank you for providing such a great program!
Best of both worlds; loving and family oriented feeling like a small intimate childcare center, but all the perks of a franchise. Loving teachers with positive attitudes, the curriculum, cleanliness.

I love how attentive the administrative staff is to any questions or inquiries that we as parents have. They work hard to ensure the parents and children are happy as well as working with their team (teachers) to make sure everyone is on the same page. The teachers work hard to ensure the kids are on a routine schedule and that they are having fun. It’s so cute to see my kid having a fun time with friends and to see the teachers interacting with the children.
I like the hours they offer care, the option to provide food, the friendly front office staff, the schedule they follow, the curriculum offered, and we love their teacher Ms Tasha!!
My daughter absolutely thrives at Lightbridge Academy, and I couldn’t be happier with her experience. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, welcoming, and truly centered around the children. The teachers are nothing short of wonderful—patient, loving, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth. It’s clear that they know and care for my daughter as an individual, which means the world to me.
One of the things I appreciate most is the excellent communication. The staff keeps me informed throughout the day, and the Lightbridge app is fantastic. I love being able to see updates, photos, and notes about my daughter’s activities, meals, and milestones.
I truly love Lightbridge Academy. It has been such a positive and joyful place for my daughter!
My daughter has been attending Lightbridge since she was about 5 months old and now she is currently in the pre-K program. Aside from the great quality of early education she has received (including sign language, Spanish, STEM learning, music / instruments, sports, etc.), the relationships she has made with past and present teachers has made a huge impact on her. Most recently Ms. Theresa and Ms. Simran have been especially impactful both as people who my daughter can learn from and turn to for guidance, but also as people who she cares about and feels safe and comfortable with. The staff (both teacher and front office) make an effort to get to know each child and family and make Lightbridge feel like a second home to our kids. We will be very sad to leave LBA next summer!
I like how they pay attention to my baby. She is very funny around people but she loves it there. I also love the transparency.

Everything about Lightbridge has been amazing! We are so happy that our daughter has a wonderful place to go to everyday. She loves to go to daycare! The teachers, directors, and owner have been so helpful and loving toward our daughter and even our son who does not attend the school. Lightbridge has truly created a loving and safe environment where we are all happy!
We couldn’t be happier! Everyone is so warm and welcoming, and the teachers in my son’s class are absolutely incredible. They’ve made his first VPK experience a truly positive and memorable one. We’re so thankful for all they do!
My son is in the infant class. I feel so lucky to have a daycare right down the street from us with teachers and administrators who provide such love and care for our son, and all the students! I feel safe dropping him off every morning knowing he’s in good hands!
How interactive and hands on the teachers are with the students. My daughter isn’t even two yet and she’s starting to say the ABC’s

The teachers and curriculum. We’ve only dealt with Khaki Kangaroos I rants and mobile infants however if those classes are any indication of how the other ones are I cannot wait to experience them!

The teachers are amazing
The teachers genuinely care and take the time to get to know your child and build a relationship with them. The administration runs a great business indicated by the fact that their teachers stay as I’ve been at two other daycares that had heavy teacher turnover which was highly disruptive.
Not only has Lightbridge Academy fostered academic and social growth for my toddler, they have treated us like family, extending love, grace and support in our times of need. I couldn’t ask for a better daycare. The people here are full of love. I really appreciate Lightbridge Academy for all they have done.
The staff and Lightbridge Academy are always so attentive to my child’s needs. Ms Nyasia is doing and awesome job in Blue Horses. We appreciate all that the teachers do to ensure a safe and fun environment for our child. My favorite thing to hear from my son is “Ms Nyasia is a really good teacher!”
I like that the program creates such a warm and caring environment where my daughter is learning and growing every day. Her teachers are so attentive and supportive, and she has been making wonderful friends. I also really appreciate the special classes, spirit weeks, and fun events that encourage creativity. It’s great that the program celebrates different holidays like Diwali and Holi so the kids are exposed to diverse cultures. My daughter is always excited to come to school, which shows how engaging and supportive the program truly is.
