The care for employees
My son has been at Lightbridge for over two and a half years and has had such a wonderful time there! He is just moving up out of the Orange Giraffes classroom and had such a blast there. Ms. Heather and Ms. Sam are amazing teachers that were always filled with joy and my son would always be so excited to see them in the morning and tell them about the things in his life like stepping in a muddy puddle, his shoe falling of, etc :) We will definitely miss them as he moves up into his new class but we're so happy he had them as teachers!
I really like this daycare and feel comfortable leaving my son here. The cameras give me peace of mind, and I appreciate the care they provide every day.
My son was involved in an incident on August 5th where his teacher threw him and 2 other toddlers to the ground. (He’s 2 years old) The school suspended the teacher but did not notify any parents. I found out August 21st when another parent in the class sent me the screen recording. I was sick to my stomach over what my child went through and that they would keep that from me. I spoke to the school August 22nd and the teacher was fired that day. I informed the other parent but did not have contact info for the 3rd parent. I told the director and owner they had to tell them that day. The state was contacted and there is a case opened. Fast forward to August 28th and I run into the 3rd parent at drop off. I asked if they spoke to her, they had not. I informed her that her son was involved in this incident and showed her the video. Based on their actions they have a “don’t tell” culture at this Lightbridge. This is unacceptable and I have a huge problem with how the owner and director handled a situation where toddlers were abused and then hiding it from their parents. My son now has a complete meltdown every day at drop off. He never use to. I don’t want to change schools because I love most of the teachers and I work in the same building as the daycare. But they need to do better.

Caring and attentive teachers. All of our son’s teachers have been amazing from the start as well as any teacher who has come across him. They are very interested in his learning and growth.
I love how friendly staff are. They always answer calls and emails. They are always doing fun things for their staff, their students, and their families. They make us feel valued.
I love that the staff at LBA of Woodbridge genuinely serve with my children's best interests at heart. The Administration and Teachers are truly passionate about each child’s growth, celebrating every milestone along the way. They actively listen to concerns and work collaboratively with parents and families to create a personalized plan for success. Their support has helped build both confidence and independence in my children. We are lucky to be part of the LBA of Woodbridge Family!
My child absolutely loves coming to school each day! Her teachers are so loving and caring, and they go above and beyond to make sure every child in their care feels valued and taken care of. Knowing how much my daughter enjoys being here gives me such peace of mind each morning when I drop her off. I couldn’t ask for a better place for her to learn and grow!

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Lightbridge Academy. The staff creates a warm, nurturing atmosphere that perfectly complements their engaging curriculum. The overall environment feels welcoming and supportive for both children and families.
The convenient add-on services, particularly the meal plan, have been incredibly helpful for our busy family. Having all communication centralized through their app makes staying connected with our child's day seamless and stress-free. The structured daily routines provide consistency that our son clearly thrives on.
But what matters most is seeing our son's joy - the biggest smile lights up his face every single day at pickup. That genuine happiness tells us everything we need to know about the quality of care and education he's receiving at Lightbridge Academy.
I feel so at ease when I leave my 2 year old with these wonderful people. He has learned SO MUCH and I know he is so loved by everyone there. I can't thank them enough for caring for him so deeply
I love how the teacher and administrators interact with the kids. Since day one when i was scared about daycare due to past experiences Jaclyn made me feel comfortable and assured me my baby would be okay. She is very open and communication is amazing. Then Keriane and Melinda was my son first teacher and they were absolutely amazing with the pictures to the communication i felt comfortable dropping my son off. As time went on he was happy to go to school and i love all the activities they have for family interaction and activities for the kids. I truly love keriane she is absolutely amazing and my son loves her i know with her my son is safe and i can relax and do my job.

The teachers are so good with my son. He loves it so much that when it's time to go home he doesn't want to leave. The staff in the front are also very courteous and welcoming when you walk in the building.
The team at Lightbridge in Woodbridge is very friendly and goes out of their way to help families. From raising funds for a family who lost their home in a fire, to watching my newborn while I drop my toddler in the morning. In addition to being patient and kind with the kids and their families, they go above and beyond and bring a pleasant disposition to work every single day.
I’m so glad I made the switch to Lightbridge and grateful for the team that looks after my son daily!

Our child has been part of the Lightbridge family from the time they were infants to now being in the Brown Bears class, and the journey has been nothing short of amazing. The teachers are truly wonderful—caring, patient, and dedicated—and we’ve seen so much growth and advancement in our children because of them. We also deeply appreciate our directors, especially Miss Jess. She has always gone above and beyond to support both the child and the parents, and her kindness and willingness to resolve any concerns never goes unnoticed. We are so grateful she has returned to Woodbridge—her presence makes the center feel warm, welcoming, and like home. Lightbridge has truly become an extension of our family, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and education our children are receiving here.
I like the safety features of the school as well as being able to watch my child in the class room with the teachers during the day.
I truly feel like everyone from the staff to the administration is invested in our daughter’s well being and growth. She’s smiling and happy there and learning something new every day. What more can you as a working parent ask for.

The care and dedication the staff and teachers provide for the children every day is amazing! They genuinely care about each child’s development.
My daughter has attended Lightbridge for a little under a year, she started in green frogs with Mrs.Nicky and is now in blue horses with Miss Kat and Mr Tyrese- all of the teachers are amazing and listen to parents concerns. As soon as she sees the school when driving she gets so excited to go greet some of the teachers that are in the younger rooms and gets super excited and gallops to her classroom to see Miss Kat. Can’t recommend this school enough!!
