The staff is amazing and I can trust them with my child
We appreciate the flexibility of Lightbridge, but more importantly, we love the staff. The teachers and administrators truly care about, not just my child, but the parents.
Everyone is amazing and I know my daughter is learning so much.
I love the teachers. You can tell they truly care about the students. Everyday my daughter comes home excited to tell me about all the fun things she did and learned about. The love of learning they are instilling in her is priceless to me!
Lightbridge Academy consistently provides a nurturing and supportive environment.

We’ve had a great experience at LBA. The staff is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about the kids. Our children are happy here and always excited to go each day. We’re very thankful for the loving environment they provide. 😊
The kids learn new things daily. They get outside time when it’s nice weather and outsource different classes like sports, music, etc.
The Pre-K teachers in Teal Turtles are kind, thoughtful, and well organized. Their classroom encourages independence, while still meeting each child where they are in terms of support. Ms Kelis and Ms Mariana work very well together and are fantastic co-leads. Our 4 year old has been at Lightbridge since she was 4 months old and each year she continues to flourish thanks to the wonderful teachers and caregivers at Lightbridge.
Teachers are kind; the curriculum is interesting
What I love the most about your program is the transparency and open communication between the staff and us, the parents. Both the staff in Young Infants and Mobile Infants have done above and beyond in taking care of my daughter, Phoebe, providing the upmost professional care for her and enriching her education in a holistic environment! I feel a sense of security, ease, and a high level of trust when my fiancé and I drop our daughter off to school everyday since starting in April 2025! All of the staff are very personable and approachable in addition to being very responsive when I have questions or concerns through the messaging function on the LightBridge academy app!
The daycare is clean, the teachers and staff are attentive to concerns, and the kids are learning while having fun.
I have never worried about my children while being cared for at Lightbridge Academy. They are happy when they are there and I am happy that they are safe and loved.
The teachers genuinely care about their students and try to bring fun educational experiences for the children every week.
I am very happy with the school and the staff. I think they have wonderful ideas to keep the kids ans families involved. The teachers and directors are wonderful. The only reason for 9 stars and not 10, the upstairs classrooms are extremely difficult to get to in the morning. The stair case is in the back of the school, not the front. There is no elevator. The door at the top of the stairs, yoy have to stand on the step to open it. If we forget anything, we have to go back upstairs.
The Lightbridge Valhalla staff is incredibly caring and treats every child as if they were their own. From day one, they have built a level of trust and connection with our child that we are deeply grateful for. The consistent communication and thoughtful updates throughout the day provide such peace of mind, and the engaging activities clearly reflect how much intention and love goes into everything they do. Every morning, our child walks into a welcoming, positive, and nurturing environment, and it brings us so much joy to see that excitement. We truly couldn’t ask for a better place or a more dedicated team to support our child’s growth and happiness
We do enjoy the teachers as they are very loving and kind. It’s more administration that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. They are not warm , make you feel like any question , statement or request is an issue or as if you are bothersome. It makes me second guess if this is a place I should continue to keep my child. As someone who works administration of a hospital understand the importance of a simple reply back to a parents concern rather than being ignored. It comes off very aloof and rude.
Secondly , the activities that are shown on the app that will be done in class .. rarely happens. I feel like this is dishonest especially regarding a curriculum. I also received the list of what the new class will be working on with my daughter , however she is doing 80% of the list. I’m not sure if she’s not being challenged enough as a daycare that’s accredited. My opinion was asked and this is our concerns. Maybe it will differ for another family. We hope things get addressed sooner than too late.
Lightbridge Academy of Yardley is a comprehensive daycare where your children are safe, loved and being supported through their respective milestones of growing up. By the time they finish the pre-k course the children are indeed kindergarten ready. I have one who went through all the classrooms and is thriving in Kindergarten and loves school! My youngest is currently being supported in her journey to become more independent and potty trained. The teachers are communicative and there is an open door policy to always hear thoughts and concerns and are quick to resolve matters and create plans when things need improvement. I love the administration and how they come along side and support the growth of my family. Thank you for everything you all do!!

My son loves it and the teachers are accommodating
When we started at Lightbridge, we were expecting to receive pictures of our kiddos every day. For our youngest, we are lucky to get one a day.
Additionally, the classrooms are growing, teachers are leaving and we just continuously get floaters assigned. The reason we wanted to come to LB was to have consistency. LB should ensure the classrooms have assigned teachers before adding more kids. One of the classrooms has 16 kids with only one assigned teacher. My other kids classroom had a teacher leave, we got assigned a new teacher, and that teacher left within a few days without an official message.
We recently switched from Lightbridge Eatontown to Lightbridge Shrewsbury. We cannot say enough about the Mobile Infant class in Shrewsbury. Dropping off our son, Parker, is so much easier knowing he is in good hands. Ms. Lizzie and her staff have made us feel at ease. We love that the children are outside multiple times a day and that our son is able to engage in arts and crafts. Overall, this experience has been such a positive experience for the three of us.
The curriculum is great - our child gets so much interactive learning opportunities. The teachers & staff are attentive to parent needs. The facility and classrooms are very well-maintained.
The teachers and the staff are the best! They really care about the kids and their development. The teachers are very creative with the weekly themes and the kids learn a lot. We are very happy to be apart of the Lightbridge family. My kids even ask to go on to Lightbridge on the weekends.
We have had such a wonderful experience at this daycare. The teachers are incredibly friendly, professional, and truly know what they’re doing. They helped transition my baby between classrooms slowly and thoughtfully, making sure he felt comfortable and adjusted every step of the way. I always receive constant, helpful updates, which gives me so much peace of mind.
Everyone here is sweet, supportive, and genuinely caring. The leadership from Crystal and Morgan has been outstanding, and the teachers especially Ariana, Emily, Nora, and Noelle are absolutely amazing. I actually chose my job location based on the great reviews of this daycare, and I couldn’t be happier with that decision. We feel so lucky to be part of this community!
When we signed up we were told this wasn’t going to be ran like a daycare and that is what it has turned into. The kids walk around looking bored and there is no structure. We were also told there was supposed to be a curriculum and that each weeks theme would be represented with the toys in the classroom and I have yet to see that. The teachers look like they are just trying to get through the day. I was highly disappointed with the holiday party efforts . A lot needs to be changed and improved. For this establishment to be considered Montessori it’s definitely falling short in that area. Also the cleaning of the area and the toys need to be done way better and the hygiene done throughout the day . Also I do think there should be extra precautions taking to make sure parents aren’t bringing their sick kids to school.
I think that there should be a bit more free play in the preschool rooms and perhaps a little less structure
We love how much our child is learning and how much the staff care for him. Can’t say enough great things about everyone there.
Great staff, clean environment, and positive vibes. Can't ask for more. We know our son is well taken care of!
Physical appearance could use some work. Play area needs some work with controlling bugs (mosquitoes and bats). Other than that, the teachers are absolutely amazing.
There are things we love about this school and things that could use major improvement. We love the family environment from the administration and teachers and how loved and supported my child is here. I wish that the school was more affordable- as two children will cost us almost double our mortgage payment, and the cost includes nothing but walking in the door. I would love love to see more training for staff, especially in behavior management with the children. We also wish there was more use of the Lightbridge app- as every day the only updates we get are meals, diapers and nap times. There are 0 pictures of activities, we don’t even know what activities were done or if anything was done. While during a busy work day and I can’t check the cameras often, I would love to open the app and see what my child’s day looked like.
