I was originally put off by the way my boyfriend and I were handled during the purchasing process and even after, but I chalked it up to the rushing off the process etc. We were encouraged that by buying a new 2021 camper, we would have some warranties to come along with it just in case something was to go wrong.
Less than two months after having the camper delivered, we had decided to utilize the heating system for a night only to find out that it was not working correctly. There was no heat coming out of the vents, but there seemed to be substantial heat coming out of the drawers below the bed.
Also, almost at the same exact time we had an issue with the stove and the lights around the dials, so I figured the right thing to do was reach out to Alpin Haus.
When I called, I was met with a $400+ work order that I was supposed to sign just for a road call to see what the issues on the brand new trailer were and then another road call to fix the issues which were going to be under warranty, unless it was something caused by gross negligence or a rodent. I refused to sign that work order and asked for another version with only one service call. This was still over $200.... I understand this was a "worst case scenario" work order/estimate, however; I have been left with a horrible taste in my mouth after this experience.
For reference, this trailer is a 2021 that was purchased off of your showroom floor.
I am the first owner and paid for the camper to be delivered. It has not been moved since.
The duct work inside the trailer had never been attached from the factory, confirmed by your service technician that came out to check the issues out. He also told me the cylinder/dial would need to be replaced on the stove, but that part would have to be ordered (which anyone could have guessed) and that would be a separate service call.
As someone who owns a business and runs another on the side, I am astounded to have been charged for a service call. If this was my business, I would have tossed the service call in because I care about my customers and customer retention.
The days of proper customer service seem to have passed by... I would not send anyone to Alpin Haus at this point, but I might have had some renewed hope if I had been taken care of better with these warranty issues.
My wife and I purchased a 2021 Grand Design Imagine 2800BH from Alpin Haus. . We are very happy with our purchase. And extremely happy with the service department as well. We had them add a few accessories, and had a few adjustments made. The only complaint I have, is the wrong sway equalizing bars were installed on our trailer. I specifically asked for EQALIZER BARS, but received E2 bars. E2 bars Do Not work well on our F-150 Supercrew truck Next time I will pay closer attention to this. We will definitely consider Alpin Haus when we purchase our next RV, Respectful yours, Beth & Ross Holmes
The people are the best!
This dealership strung us out 10 days for the first available service appointment only to tell us they could not do the work. Since they had the make, model and they know in advance that they could not work the full wall slide, we consider it VERY rude that they had us sit around and wait on them when we could have just gotten it to a dealer who was able to work on it.
Please call me and I will tell you all about my disappointment with my recent purchase.

The levelers are down on our rv and it still leaked when it rained. When are you going to fix it ?????? Wish someone there would get back to me.

Attention to detail in ordering parts and professionally installing them.
There were several instances with my warranty repair that Alpin Haus dropped the ball. For example, the replacement window was supposed to be ordered but was not until the 3rd time. The latest interaction was much better thanks to Tawyneann. The only issue this time was it appears that the repair was completed on 8-27 but I was not notified until late 8-31 after I called to check on it.
Brian Miller our sales person was very efficient in the purchase of our new fifth wheel. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for an easy buying transaction.

Our Service Advisor Scott was able to fit us first thing in the morning of the day after we had called about a suspected propane leak. The leak test showed that the 2 year old propane regulator was definitely leaking. The service and part were covered under your/our Forever Warranty program and he had the part in stock! We were back on the road in less than an hour.

Assume I know nothing. When I bought a née truck, I needed the lower fifth wheel parts. I was quoted after talking to the service person. When I brought my truck in I was asked where my rails were? I didn’t know I needed them and now the old truck is gone and it cost me an additional $300.
