Prompt and thorough
The inspection was very thorough including detailed information (with pictures) regarding each problem encountered while inspecting my new home. 
Also the final inspection report also pointed out and prioritized issues/problems needing immediate addressing to stop further damage to my home. This attention to detail about potential problems gave me the confidence to reach out to service experts to help me start repairing problems in my home. 
Henry Fong was very knowledgeable and helpful. Of course, we received this inspection in part for the rebate from Enbridge, but we found the information in general very helpful.

I liked Dave's presentation style. He pointed out a few things but he's not an alarmist. He gives the facts without purposely trying to kill the deal, as other inspectors have been known to do.

I have really struggled to get responses from energy advisor. My first email with the form was on July 24th and I did not receive a response back until I emailed the Halifax email address directly on August 29th. I then didn't get a response back until October 8th, when again, I had to email Halifax to get any response.
I finally got a report on October 14th. But at this point, many of the proposed changes are either not possible to implement due to the stage of our construction or are out of budget.
I've followed up since for more information - is the $15,000 certain at this stage, given the information we've provided and the report that has been provided to me? What other things need to happen to ensure the rebate or incentive is going to be provided? I am not confident in agreeing to a $30,000 solar setup without knowing we are going to end up reducing that cost with the program.
How to make things right? Prompt responses, more information, not having months between communication.
Great professional inspector, explained everything I could understand. Great attitude and easy to talk to. I would hire him again and recommend him to someone else.

The inspection was ok and person was knowledgeable.
I only felt the person was more bound to what can be inspected and what cannot while the person can do more depending the need of the house and based on experience.
There was more "I dont know" answers than guiding.
Also it was disappointing to see the inspector did not have a humidity meter which is so important in all the houses.( it is 2025!, much important)
I have seen other inspectors using it in my other houses, as it gives a good idea about the humidity levels, dampness in walls etc. so I assumed it will come as default.
After paying 850 I do expect a better data oriented readings in my report and much equipped inspection.
Also in my situation I lost 3 days just to debate on mould presence in attic as other party were asking for humidity readings while my inspector only visually observed and confirmed.
If I have to pay for every specialist to tell me if things are wrong, then I question the need of inspections.
I felt the technician was very thorough and he walked me through the entire process of his inspection of each room and in places throughout the property where i could not go such as the attic and on the roof, he took pictures, and he documented all discrepancies in understandable language.
The initial application process is well organized.
The to-be owner knows what to expect and can ask questions about the process.
The Inspector explains up front what s/he is going to do and then after the inspection is finished provides an adequate explanation of what s/he found
