The employees I spoke to at both stores (California/Nevada) were very helpful when there was an issue with pants and shirt I received for a wedding I was in. They listened to what I needed and had replacements waiting for me to be picked up when I flew into NV for a wedding I was part of. Excellent service.
I had contacted Friar Tux for a styled shoot I was hosting in Charleston, SC. From the very first communication with the team, it was absolutely fantastic. The team helped me pick out styles that worked with our style shoot theme. The suits arrived in an earlier timeframe than originally anticipated, and were delivered right to my door. The suits, shoes and accessories were neatly packed, the quality was wonderful and the package even included instructions on how to best style the suits for the styled shoot.
Friar Tux included return packaging and instructions, which cannot be easier.

Our son-in-law picked your company for our wedding suits. Since we did not have a local store, we did everything over the internet. I got measurements at Nordstrom and then entered everything into your website. Received the suit a few weeks before the event and everything fit well. A UPS return label and garment bag were included with the order, so I just took everything to a UPS store and it was shipped back for free. Good experience!
Both women that helped me with my tux rental went above and beyond. I'm sorry I do not remember their names. They made sure I felt great about the fit.

The Lakewood store sucked, the rep who took my brother's measurements was so rude.
He was Hispanic-American, glasses, beard, heavyset, food stains on his shirt.
Very rude, and he messed up my brother's suit. We gave him the exact measurements, shoe size, everything, and he messed it up.
Most of the pieces didn't fit my brother and were not at all close to the measurements we provided.
We had to purchase new clothes the day of the wedding.
I understand you have customers come in and try the clothing, but my brother flew in the day of the wedding and we had no time to do a fitting.
I told him that, but he was so rude and demanding we go to the Anaheim warehouse to get my brother's suit.
The wedding was in Torrance in the late morning, thus we had no time that day to pick up my brother from the airport (LAX), go all the way to Anaheim, then make it back to the wedding. I repeatedly told the rep at the Lakewood store but he continuously disregarded me.
I did pick up the suit at the Downey store, but I do not fault them in anyway.
The rep at the Lakewood store messed up the measurements, and I would like a refund.
Also, I believe he tried to call my brother after he left feedback, we do not want to hear from him.
We prefer a regional manager to call to work this out and process a refund, NOT THE REP I HAVE IDENTIFIED FROM THE LAKEWOOD STORE.
IF HE CALLS ME I WILL CONSIDER IT HARASSMENT.
