Welcoming, space, classes & activities.

Friendly staff, clean, new equipment, the overlook area is awesome.

We love terrell rec center. I love the workout area, kids play area and specially the childcare facility.
Few things to improve upon.
Inside the kids play area, there are teens/tween kids and they make it rough for toddler or young kids to play. They push them, jump around like crazy inside the stairs thats going up the slide. That really needs some control specially on the weekends/holidays. If you can have someone from the facility watch/guard them, it will be in control.
During the games like volley ball, basket balls, etc it gets crazy crowded. May be they need separate entry/exit and parking also on the other side.
I wish the classes like indoor soccer and other sports needs more number or more timings so more kids can accommodate.

No membership fee. Variety of age group experiences

The large variety and number of workout machines (treadmills, rowing machines, etc) means I can always find a "spot" to exercise. The large walking track has a good surface and is generally not too crowded. There are also a variety of exercise classes, personal trainers, and a playground for the children (as well as child care for little ones). So nice to be able to exercise no matter the weather! And the staff is always pleasant and responsive.

Large, new facility with pickleball, classes, weights, running track. Great value for Allen resident over 60!

It's a nice facility for a reasonable price. I mostly use it for pickleball.

Everything about the rec center is great. Wish child care was open after 12. Facilities are always clean. Staff is friendly.

I like the classes like senior strong and hit. I wish there were more choices of classes around the 10-12:00 o’clock hour or more classes in the evening.

I like the diversity of exercises and physical activities available at the rec center.

The space is open and clean and has a good combination of machines & equipment, walking trail/indoor walkway, Lovely pickle ball & basketball courtsand the kids have a nice play area, which is well maintained. There anre ample bathrooms and are kept very clean! One thing that I miss here is a nice sauna post your workout and that is going to be really worthwhile for me as I’m not gonna be able to go to another place hunting for a sauna!

Indoor track and exercise equipment are well designed and maintained. Staff is very nice and professional as well.

The indoor track and temperature. Good variety of weight machines. And best of all, the early morning front desk staff is very friendly. Jill, Robin and AlMarie are very nice and helpful.

Clean and spacious facility. Not crowded except the summer months

I love everything about the center. It's clean, organized and has a great track. The weights are always put back in place. The staff are friendly and kind. And the price for the experience seems about right.

The rec center has everything!

They offer a volume of classes. And all the equipment that you need to work out by yourself and all the other equipment to do treadmill biking. The staff is always friendly.

For the weekend pickleball open play, suggest to have different time slots for different levels and families.

We like the indoor track. It’s great for the really hot and really cold months. It’s never too crowded. We’re always able to get a bike or the equipment we need. The place is always clean and the staff friendly.
I’m really happy you took my suggestion in the last survey and changed the age limits on the track and the equipment. We saw too many people walking toddlers on the track with the joggers having to go around them and middle schoolers abusing the equipment because they thought it was a toy. Both situations were accidents waiting to happen.
I wish you would now consider accepting Silver Sneakers cards for seniors. Your facility is so much nicer than the very small exercise room at the senior center, and seniors would not be there during your peak times, before and after work. We could come during the day. Last year our insurance covered the cost of the $35/month fee but this year they took that benefit away. If you accepted the SS cards, that would save us those monthly fees. Thanks for listening.
