I love the atmosphere at Stephen Terrell. The staff is so welcoming. I like the little spots to go read a book after a work out and the tallest playground in Texas of course.

I like the variety of group fitness classes and the times offered especially weekday mornings. The facility is always clean and well maintained. I really appreciate the supply of equipment you provide - dumbbells, mats, etc. There always seems to be enough for everyone! Everyone at the front desk is friendly :) And the fitness instructors that I’ve taken classes from are l knowledgeable and really good at what they do.

A couple of things - the parking lot needs sidewalks in between aisles/rows, so it’s easier and more straightforward to get to the entrance. As it is now, we have to walk over the rocks and plants to get to the entrance, otherwise walk down the entire aisle to get to the 1 sidewalk.

The other thing, if a group fitness class is full and someone needs a heavier or lighter weight or other piece of equipment, but the racks are empty, the instructor should offer to share her equipment with the member. There is 1 instructor I’ve experienced who gets 5-6 sets of dumbbells to herself when there are members who are doubling up or don’t have any, and the instructor didn’t offer to give hers up. This particular instructor uses the class as her personal workout and isn’t very attentive to the members taking the class.

TESS IS AWESOME!!! Her classes are the BEST. If she ever leaves so will I. I sure hope she stays around.

The air is always very fresh and just the right temperature. I like hearing the chimes from the play structure while I’m working out. It’s always very clean. I like the natural light and the walking ramp and stairs. I enjoy the outdoor exercise deck, the basketball courts, pickleball, badminton, weights…The staff is always courteous.
