It’s very clean. Great equipment.
Friendly staff, clean workout room with good variety of machines. I occasionally use the children’s splash area with grandkids and they enjoy that, too. Lifeguards are attentive.
It has the basic equipment needed for a great workout in an area that feels just right. Not too big and not too small.
We enjoy everything STRC has to offer and that it is walking distance from our house.
It is an excellent value. I love that I can use workout equipment and also attend classes, including swim! The huge hot tub is amazing and the lazy river is fun. The people who work at the facility are just great all around. So helpful and kind.
I enjoy the deep water exercise classes--great workouts, great instructors, and a fun group of people! Thank you for making an amazing environment that is affordable.
I'm a fairly new member but here's why I joined and continue to enjoy the facility:
- the newness of the facility
- how well planned the facility's layout is
- the lap track for walking
- plenty of aerobic equipment (wish there was a "regular" stationary bike though instead of just recumbent and race-training)
- the cleanliness of the facility
- cost
I love going there. Everyone is friendly. I love using the group fitness room for my own workouts when class is not in session.
Workout machine is good. The place is clean.
The variety of exercise equipment and options. Usually it’s not too crowded to get an effective workout on the weights and weight machines. The option to join classes or use the swimming pool.
Like the water exercise programs.

Classes
ASRC is a wonderful place for Allen Seniors. They offer so much and what a variety! There are so many self-improvement classes, lunch and other day trips, Many (and a variety of) exercise classes are offered. There are board, card, and other games available. Walking groups, electric trike rides, craft and dance classes are offered as well as dances are held. There is much more. You can find plenty to do at ASRC as well as make many new friends.
Very beautiful facility. Clean, decorated, free coffee and tea. Vending machine. Excellent helpful and friendly staff.
So many wonderful and varied activities.
Need more parties, concerts, Karaoke.
But, lots of excursions and opportunities ti stay healthy and get fit.
Bingo is super fun for me.

Obsessed with the pools! There are two and a hot tub! Workout classes are great my favorite is Jen’s Wind Down Yoga for Tuesday and Thursday’s evenings for relaxation. I feel very comfortable here compared to other typical “gym” settings and people are very nice.
The number of activities
It is well managed and kept clean and organized in all areas. The services provided are well thought out and well managed. I primarily utilize the physical training facility and fhave found it to meet my overall needs. The trainers on site are friendly and sincerely care about providing leadership and education to those needing physical therapy land/or just health improvements overall.
I love the deep water classes, but also love that there are so many other classes available. I like being a part of the community and getting to know the other members as well as the instructors and other employees.
