Clean, adequate, friendly center for seniors
I love the Allen Sr. Rec center!!! Great place to make new friends and enjoy the activities! It's a great bunch of folks; great staff; all around GREAT EXPERIENCE with all the wonderful offerings they have!

The Stephen G. Terrell Recreation Center is an awesome facility! I like to workout here with my friends, and every time I’m there everything is clean and well-maintained. There’s also a great variety of equipment and activities. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere makes it a really enjoyable place to work out and spend time. Definitely a 10/10 and a place I’d recommend to anyone!
The front desk is friendly…the life guards are not friendly at ALL. They turn their heads to keep from speaking, not once have I had a smile or hello from them ALL.

I go to the Rec Center 3 to 4 times a week for Zumba classes with Taralee as my instructor
hope there would be more zumba gold or zumba beginner class or dance beginner class.

Excellent amenities and pricing for families
I love the instructors for the group exercise. The one thing I wish would happen would be larger capacity spaces. I know space is limited at this facility, but the group exercise classes are so good, I wish they’d either move to another center that could hold more people in the space, or add additional classes with these instructors (either at the aquatic center or at facility nearby).
