The customer service is fantastic as I always get someone on the phone quickly for any questions I have. I have lived in this house for 25 years and Downeast Energy has been the only company I have used during this time. I had a gas leak once and they were incredible responsive and walked me though how to keep me safe until they arrived.
I have used the furnace cleaning maintenance feature and every year they come and service my furnace and so I know I am alway in great hands when they leave. I have always been on the payment plan which I like so I always know what I am paying each month.
In 25 years I have never had anything to complain about.

I was concerned about the volume of gas we used during our recent (multiple) power outages since the range and the fireplace were our only sources of heat. When I called to check, the company sent out a delivery to ensure we were in good shape (we would have been okay without it) and gave me the assurance we were not going to run out.

In a world where customer service appears to be deteriorating left and right, Sue Lane provided one of the best experiences I have endured in recent memory. We have been anticipating this storm for several days and I conveyed the sense of urgency in filling our liquid propane tank given the likelihood of losing power and that being our only heating source when that happens. In a matter of three days, Sue was able to expedite the re-fill request on Monday, which led to the tank being filled Wednesday morning. As it turns out, we lost power Thursday Morning and have been without it ever since so her timing and prompt action is keeping our family warm as we speak. We are a family of four and have two kids under four, so you can imagine the nerve raking nature of this situation.

I hope others can take note of Sue's dedication to her craft and taking pride in what she does.
