What I like most about the YMCA the Pool Family has been very friendly always making you feel welcome ,always available to answer any questions or to show you anything that you need to know about the different machines and how to use them. I've always felt like I'm at home with my own personal gym.

Sense of community with other active senior women. Love Jeanne as the “Thrive” coordinator who has taken an already good program to a whole new level!! Ellen as my long time weight lifting class instructor who is so positive, caring, and supportive of me as a 74 yo in her class of mostly younger people. Live Lindsey as a weight lifting instructor too. Super friendly greet staff at the front desk.
The instructors are fabulous, the facility is clean, and everyone at the front desk greets you with a smile and know you personally every time you walk in. The classes are energizing and make me feel good when I leave. Thank you.

Classes geared toward seniors are hard to find. The Poole Y continues to improve its options for appropriate classes, activities and support. The water fitness classes are such a hit!

Everything. The staff is friendly and helpful when asked. The trainers are great. The available classes and the coaches/leaders of those classes are great. The facilities are top-notch and there are plenty of options available to fulfill your workout needs!

The staff is welcoming. The Poole YMCA offers plenty of workouts to meet the needs of the members. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. The women's sauna is great.
