My daughter always has a great time at YMCA Day Camp! She comes home excited to tell us about all the fun activities, new friendships, and adventures she has each day. What I appreciate most is the caring and attentive staff. They truly embody strong values, create a welcoming environment, and genuinely care about each child. I can’t say enough great things about Philip at the front desk! I usually go to the Kraft y but came to Poole one evening to meet a friend for a cycle class and I forgot my hair tie - he helped me find one - and I forgot my water - and he gave me a bottle of water! So friendly and kind and made my whole experience 10000% better!
My son wakes up excited everyday. I feel my child is safe and loved and grateful for this program the cost and the hours are amazing
First Responder has been incredible— it is very evident a lot of thought and care was put into creating an engaging program for campers!
Our daughter is enjoying the Messy Masterpieces so far this week. From her description, the program structure is very similar to what she is used to from preschool. She has shared what book they have read each day and what mediums they are exploring in their artwork. The drop off and pick up procedures are very safe and seamless. She has looked forward to going to camp each day and is smiling when I pick her up. I'm glad to know she is in good hands with the staff at Kindercamp!

Sense of community in that all are welcome. Love the Thrive classes & outings. The YMCA is much more than just a gym.
I know the staff are there for my child to insure they are safe until I can pick him up after school. He has fun and enjoys being to socialize with other kids at the Y.
He is eager to sit down and get his homework completed before I pick him up, and the staff are always right there if he needs assistance understanding a question or how to work a math problem. They know my child almost as well as I do.
I love the family feel and the warm welcome each time.
Love the staff, how clean the facility is, kids zone, community! Another rowing machine would be great. Love the ski-erg, wish more YMCAs had those!

The Poole Family Y is a beautiful facility with plentiful, quality equipment, helpful trainers, friendly staff, and lots of classes to choose from. The pool is great, too!

The pool is great! Lots of areas for all ages.
My kiddo LOVES the variety of the activities and the camp counselors. She comes home happy every day and looks forward to going back the next day.
The front desk employees are always kind, and the outdoor patio y’all built is very nice.
The facility is always clean. The front desk staff are always friendly and welcoming; there are a wide variety of classes and the class instructors are AMAZING.

The staff is exceptional—always friendly, welcoming, and supportive. The training programs are excellent and provide opportunities for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level, to learn, grow, and stay healthy.
