Every one is so very very nice
I like how close it is in proximity to home and work. The staff and personal trainers are friendly, engaging, and helpful. Staff keep it clean, which is so nice to know. Every time I go there, it is always being tidied up somewhere. Parking is not a problem. They have an outdoor pool we can go to during the season if we want. Equipment is plentiful. I am able to use and find what I need. Locker space is plentiful as well.

I like the instructors. Temple, Emily, Julie, and Ellen are awesome! Always great. Need to fix the bike room temperature as way too hot. New fans do not work. This has been going on since October. This is ridiculous and bringing my own fan. It’s inside so this should be looked into quickly. Again months later and no change. I’ve seen members leave due to heat. As much as we are paying, a building a few years old should be able to maintain a comfortable temperature for exercise or a building designed as a gym. Planet fitness can keep an appropriate temperature. This is not one person complaining. This is everyone in the room. Please look into this and thank you

We have had a very good experience so far this summer. I hope the current counselors stay and keep coming back. As well as the kids who are friends with my kids. I got my kids swimming lessons since last time and they have been enjoying it more for more reasons than that. It is a lot better this year in many ways. We are also looking forward to the talent show. One area for improvement is janitorial services.

I recently had a frustrating experience at the Southeast Raleigh YMCA where it took nearly 4 weeks for my children to be added to my membership. The front desk customer service people were not helpful or understanding and unfortunately, I had to be a squeaky wheel to get the problem resolved. Thankfully, it was fixed and my children were able to attend childcare, I was able to take my class, and we then went to the Poole Family YMCA with friends and had a wonderful experience. The man checking us in at the Poole YMCA pool was lovely and very helpful, answering all our questions as we had not attended that location in a while!

A small bike rack near the pool would be great, maybe a pace clock too (really, any clock with a second hand) if you get many lap swimmers
Phenomenal experience. I have three lovely but sometimes chaotic boys who enjoy going to the Poole family Y’s pool. The staff is so helpful and polite. And they are great with the polite but stern reminders of the rules. Because sometimes lord knows my boys need friendly reminders (no matter how many times I tell them).
I’m a return member. I can use equipment without waiting.

My grand daugther is so happy when I pick her up....she is really enjoying herself. The staff is friendly and approachable. We really like the end of day activity sheet and next day agenda.

I would say maybe have the AC a little lower for the workout area it is a little hot in there.
