I really appreciate the THRIVE community. It's a place to encourage and support each other while also sharing laughs in our THRIVE classes. The Balance, Strength, and Flexibility classes have make a BIG difference in helping me feel better on a daily basis. Both Becky and Laura take a thoughtful approach and offer a number of options for those with limited physical function.They are well informed about what works and what doesn't. Laura also does a great job in the personal training sessions. Couldn't ask for a better gym! Name removed

I'm on a Medicare Advantage program that has a free membership with the Y. Love that! I have pitched the Y to other residents in my 55+ community who have MA. I am extremely grateful for programs introducing me to the weight machines and "Strength and Balance" classes. You have a great staff. Of course, an indoor pool would be nice, but I get that's an extraordinary additional expense. I also hope to take my out-of-state grandkids to the Y during the summer, but the visitors' passes are kind of pricey. (Two of the kids are Y members.)
I enjoy the classes, friendly staff and other members. There seems to be enough room in the studio and parking lot for now for the members. I left another y due to overcrowding and not enough parking which makes it stressful.
I do wish the music and microphone volume the instructor uses wasn’t so loud. I leave with a headache and worry about hearing loss exposed to high decibel noise. I am trying different types of earplugs but they don’t stay in well when exercising. I like the pool but it would be nice if covered and heated with access to the locker room and warm showers
The YMCA meets a family’s broad range of needs…from light to heavy athletic opportunities, both individually and as a group. Programs are available for all ages. Staff are pleasant; facilities are clean and neat; and parking is plentiful.
