Juli is great!
I like the variety of classes. All the instructors have been really good and personable. The facility is really nice and well maintained. And I've been impressed with how alert the lifeguards at the pool are. So far, I'm very impressed with everything.
I love the Staff!
The counselors quickly knew my children by name and made sure they had a great experience everyday! It was our first time doing camp throughout the entire summer, but the kids built great relationships and had so much fun. Matthew is an incredible camp director!
The cleanliness, and the different types of equipment
We absolutely love our Poole Family YMCA! It has been an incredible place for my family to stay active and connected, especially through the youth sports programs. The welcoming, family-first environment perfectly matches the values we hold close in our own home and community.
As a fellow Garner local and the owner of Spotless Workplace, I also can't help but notice how clean, bright, and well-maintained the facility is kept for everyone. We are proud to be members here and look forward to finding ways our commercial cleaning team can partner with or support the Y’s great community mission in the future!

Water aerobics in the pool. The Thrive group. Would like to see more classes for seniors. More stationary bikes (not spin bikes), a better rower (higher up from the floor), more seated steppers. Lots of seniors develop foot/ankle problems and need these items for a complete workout.
So many things, I love the classes & trainers.
Everyone is so friendly, supportive, helpful and all good things.
I try to come 5 days a week and it’s what gets me out of bed in the morning. We’re encouraged to do our best without going too far.

Love the outside pool and water aquatics in it . Sure wish there also as an inside pool as well . I don’t like to drive further to do aquatics in the winter Months.
The group fitness instructors are wonderful. I have had classes with Janice, Carlos, Rebecca “Becky” and have gotten personal training from Laura. Pickleball court times this summer have been convenient. The YMCA is clean and inviting. Front desk staff are helpful and welcoming.

friendly, knowledgeable staff; exercise equipment; gym; however, don't participate in any classes. good communication with members if Y is having issues (towels, lights). A bit expensive but I guess I am helping the community in some way.

It provides a variety of activities and areas to keep your body moving (which I love). I enjoy the classes the most, and the instructors are always motivating while keeping the class challenging but fun.
Also, the front desk staff are lovely. They are kind and always point me in the right direction when I ask for help or guidance.
It’s usually clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. I don’t like that people put equipment on the walking track and working out on the track.
The childcare staff are kind and consistent. My kids feel comfortable there. I like all group fitness classes I've tried. The instructors are welcoming and helpful.
We really like the camp. The hours are very good for families who work full time and the counselors are al very good. We prefer camps that don't provide food because our son has diet restrictions so it is way more simple when food is not provided because then everyone just brings what they are okay with their child eating and not offered things parents dont want them to have.
My children love day camp at the YMCA. They love the leaders and their friends. They are entertained throughout the day and stay busy. This has been the 3rd summer we have placed our children in camp and look forward to it every year.
