Enjoy using the Poole Family YMCA.
The women's sauna....was only 160 last Monday. It was set to a 7 - I turned the dial to a 10. A female employee did a "bathroom check" - which I appreciate!!! I think, though, when she checked the dial of the sauna, she adjusted it down to a 8, because when I got out, it was turned down to an 8. I do not think that dial moved to 8 on it's own, right? Can we please make sure the sauna is hot?? 170-180? A 20 minute session is what is therapeutically recomeneded, and at lower temps, I have to stay in there 30+ mins, which takes time away from family, work, etc.
Friendly welcoming environment makes it an easy choice. Staff makes the effort to know your name and why you are there. A real community.
We love the new equipment, it’s smooth and easy to use.
Friendly staff, kept clean, a lot of good classes offered.
The kid zone staff are consistent, attentive and remember my kids name which helps them feel more secure when I leave them.
The instructors are welcoming and encouraging. Robin and Rose are two of my favorites.

Equipment upgrade has been great. I always have enough space to complete my workouts. Facility is always very clean, equipment and facilities get repaired quickly when out of order. The sauna is one of the most important reasons I stay a member. I would like to see a hack-squat machine added.

The people there seem all great the ones working for the YMCA the kids love the Williams exercises on the machines in the track and I like that there’s a sound of there and I can do my work out while my kids are around everything one package under the one roof sounds great
Friendly and well-informed staff, good up-to-date equipment, sufficient parking, and some financial assistance for very low income folks. The classes are lots of fun and very helpful.
The staff are super engaged with the kids!! My daughter always comes home telling me what activities she did at the Y. She actually gets upset if I pick her up too early
We love that it is at school so no transportation concerns.
It is particularly great on the days when the kids can do their homework at the Y
The counselors at our site (especially Avy) are great about keeping us updated on how the kids are doing in Y

We moved from Cary in 2020 during the pandemic and were memebers of the Kraft YMCA.
We recently returned and moved to Raleigh, newr Garner and The Poole YMCA where we renewed our membership. Your staff , Cynthia and Brian were great introducing us and registering us.
