My kids have had a positive experience at camp! They come home excited and tired from their day. The staff have worked with me to meet specific needs of my kids in a positive way. I think the FDC staff and the Y does a great job with this program!

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Very clean facility. I am in the “thrive” age range. I appreciate the Y remembering our age group…planning activities etc.

The A.E. Finley YMCA is a welcoming environment, and I have enjoyed using the facilities at this location. My son also enjoys Day Camp at the A.E. Finley YMCA in the summer!

FDC has been a great choice for us. Our little has a few quirks and the Counselors and Managment at the camp have been so good. Lexi especially is phenomenal and has made camp incredibly inclusive for all kinds of special needs.

My only suggestion would be to have a watchdog in the gym at peak times to monitor time spent on machines. There are still way too many people (mostly young, but some old too) looking at the phones, socializing, etc., between sets. Three sets should be the maximum and 3 minutes per machine.

Outdoor pool, clean locker rooms. It gets crowded at times but overall nice facility.

My daughter, only 5 years old, felt confident and sure of herself once she started experiencing the day because of the staff and their attention to the kids in front of them. The communication was excellent ahead of time from a parent perspective, especially the open house event. My wife and I met working at the Y and specifically Finley Day Camp so to be able to send our daughter there who had the best week of her summer was a special thing for our family.

My boys did the flag football camp and had a blast. Everyone was friendly, helpful and positive. We can’t wait to come back next year!
