Kid Zone! I wish there were more hours. The pool is great! I wish the baby pool were open more often. But I understand why there are limited hours for both.
Our 5yo had a great time! She loved being outside and loved her counselors. We did lose a water bottle, our daughter said she checked it already but we’ll be swinging by the lost and found ourselves. Thank you for everything!

This was the first YMCA camp experience for my 12 year old. He was reluctant to go because he didn't know anyone or what exactly it was all about, but he had a GREAT week. He had so much fun and enjoyed his huddle and activities. As former Finley counselors, his dad and I knew our son would enjoy camp, but we just had to give him the push he needed to try something new. I love that he got to try canoeing and archery for the first time! After camp was over, my son said to me of his counselor, "I'll miss not seeing Rocky." This was a total win! Thank you!
Thank you for running such a wonderful camp program!! The staff is high energy, polite, and engaging. The cost is reasonable and best of all, my son loves it!

How active my son got to be. The swimming everyday. The fact that counselors helped with sunscreen, etc. Also, the counselors were great!
We've done four weeks of camp this summer and it's been such a great experience! Our girls have enjoyed every week. The staff and counselors are professional and caring. We will definitely be back next summer!
My son looks forward to going every day. He really enjoys swimming the most, and by the sounds of it, the other activities are great too.

My son loves the camp every week. The counselors all know his name and are excited to see him and friendly to me at pickup drop offs. He always says he has so much fun each day.

Nya loves camp soooo much. She has absolutely thrived there with all the cheers and activities and swimming every day. I feel she's safe and happy when she's there. Finley Day Camp is an answered prayer to this working Mama.

After 20+ years of living down on the SE NC coast, my wife and I moved back to Raleigh.
We left a large cadre of friends. We joined this Y. Now we have a 'new cadre' of friends. I would not be enjoying the level of health I am fortunate to have, were it not for this YMCA.
HOWEVER, no organization is perfect. A MAJOR ISSUE WITH ME..and many of my friends there....CELL PHONES MESMERIZATION! Individuals will 'plant' themselves on major, high-use pieces of equipment...some will sit there, at times for 10 -15 minutes! Totally ignorant of others. Texting, taking multiple 'selfies of themselves,' friends gathered around...other members, usually seniors, merely standoff.....AND WAIT. Lora and Paula know,.... Ken Humphrey is not shy. "I have no compunction at all in coming up to them, and 'suggesting'...."You man, while you are resting and using your phone, would it be OK if I 'work in'. 95% if the times, the 'clueless ones' ..'spring UP', like a Jack in the box..(not all) but that is when I 'press on a little more'. It works! . Here is the point. I should not have to resort to this! The other Seniors should not have to be disrespected. My observation: Management knows full well the scope of the problem...but....DOES NOTHING! The folded sign..'Be thoughtful of others'....a towel rack, at best. I feel it is the responsibility of management to address this issue head-on. The Health Floor, workout room is not a PHONE BOOTH. Cannot one be without his/her cell phone for 45 minutes? .
Staff and personal trainers are wonderful!
Love the variety of classes - please consider a 10:15 indoor pool class daily.
Please pay attention to the stairs from the locker rooms to the pool- covering us peeling in areas
Such a great friendly place, love the services, love the pool, love the trainers, love all my friends that I know now because of Y. All the programs are great. Just love it. So if you are reading this message and your are not a member yet do it became a member you will see is going to be the best decision you ever make.

The staff go above and beyond to fulfill the mission of the YMCA - with their kindness, service, and compassion. This branch is a sanctuary for my kids. I can’t be more grateful for Finley.
We only visited the pool, but we loved the size and all of the lifeguards were very friendly. My daughter was able to test and get her black band there and the lifeguard was very helpful. We did not go in the actual facility so I can’t speak to that part.
Friendly, helpful staff. Great instructors and classes. Responsive to feedback. Clean. Great relationships with fellow members. Fun. Energetic.
