I have been a member of the Finley Y for over 20 years. My family has always enjoyed the Y and now that I am a mature lady…. I particularly enjoy the retiree benefits of the Y and many of the “gold “ classes. I like the yoga and I’ve been doing the water aerobics classes for over 20 years. Staff is helpful, friendly and professional, and always willing to listen.!
I do believe guest memberships should be able to be extended to friends and family at least one weekend a month maybe excluding holidays.
The staff members and other members create a great community
As parents, we have been very pleased with AE Finley summer camp and our kids have had a great summer! The different themes and programs each week keep our children engaged and having fun.

The only opportunity for improvement would be how counselors handle minor injuries. My daughter mentioned the presence of "yellow jackets" on each of the first three days of camp, and was stung on her forearm by some sort of wasp on the fourth day. When the sting was reported, the counselor instructed her to put her warm water bottle on it saying that she'd "have to deal with it at home". The swelling was 1" by 2" and the counselor did not offer ice, refer her to an adult, or monitor her for an allergic reaction and no one called me to mention it either. It's my understanding that counselors were instructing kids to not eat parts of their lunch because it attracted these "yellow jackets" but as far as I know, parents weren't advised of this either. We are definitely coming back next year, but whatever insect the kids are reporting as "yellow jackets" needs to be addressed.
It is the best Y or gym that I have ever been in! It is extremely clean, has friendly staff and so many available classes, pools and equipment.

I love this location. Always greeted by friendly staff and very clean locker rooms.
It’s so incredibly organized. The staff is helpful and kind. The planned activities are great, and love the themes. Communication is also fantastic.
My only suggestion would be to offer an option at signup for campers to request being in the same group if they’re attending that same week and are the right age group. It’s been tough for my boys to be separated from one another all day, as well as from their friends.
The staff is extremely friendly. The facility is always clean. The classes and instructors are well organized.
