The classes ___ BUT not enough room as they fill up very fast.
The AP is tricky and can we please get a more politically correct opening photo on the Group Fitness Page. The one before this was colorful and non-race/gender specific. I suggest that a more politically correct generic fitness image is more inspiring. The current model looks angry and shouldn't fitness fun? Ho about generic and colorful like the previous opening page for the next one. And the AP is fussy. You have to go back and forth and it scrolls to off dates.
I like the basketball gym, the atmosphere is great with people that enjoy playing ball
Great instructor for the pilates class I took:) Jody

I love the group classes and the friendships I have made.
The Y is more than a gym membership; it’s a community of people and families who support each other through fellowship, service and volunteering. I’ve made many friends during my group fitness classes and feel more connected to my neighbors.
I was impressed by the welcoming staff at the check-in counter. The towel service is appreciated and the cleanliness of the group fitness class and the locker rooms was on point. I look forward to being a member at the Y.
A.E. Finley Y’s staff makes you feel welcome. The facility is clean and well maintained.
I travel farther to go to A.E. Finely because of the friendly environment, the courteous staff, the ability to always stay busy due to the plentiful pieces of equipment despite how busy it can be at times. I have been a Y member on and off since 1990 and this Y compares to my hometown Y growing up.
The staff are friendly. There are exercise programs for all fitness levels. The hours are accommodating!! It’s very family oriented. It’s a great place to workout.
I appreciate that YMCA has Tai Chi (just wish it was 22 times per week), and yoga at various levels, including chair yoga. The Thrive classes are great.
Finley has been my athletic home since 1989. Its strength ebbs & flows, we've lost a lot of staff & members over the years.
I am very disappointed that the Y of the Triangle is willing to lose its Medicare members with Silver & Fit thru BCBS NC, to a contract with United Health Care, the most egregiously abusive Medicare Part C provider. It speaks of tacit apprival of their business model, and makes me less trusting of the board running the Y
Everything!
Lots of parking spaces, plenty of functional lockers, pickle ball/basketball courts, new exercise equipment in sufficient amounts, indoor and outdoor pools, steam and sauna rooms which are in service most of the time, decent sized towels available, lounge area to read or relax in front of indoor swimming pool.
faith based
The YMCA core values have always been the main reason I have a membership for the past 25 years. The YMCA has helped my family grow stronger and has given myself and my sons opportunities to grow and give back.
Complete gym facilities with helpful and supportive staff.
Wide variety of class offerings, plenty of equipment, everyone is very friendly.
Sherry Ross, Customer Service Representative was able to figure out issue with Medicare Supplement Renew Active.

I like that they offer lots of group classes and also has indoor pool!
Pleasant greeters at check in. Friendly and supportive group of women in the aquatics classes.
