I love YMCA the people at the front Dess will clock you in basalt they nice they respectful and sometimes they talk so low you can’t even him the place is clean everybody and they respect you everybody money Bennett and he looks out for you so I’m glad I was chose YMCA as my workout gym thank you

I like the from the moment I arrive the front desk are always so pleasant and greeting you with a smile. Which sets the tone of how your exercise begins even when you really aren’t in a good mood are happy about exercising,
I've always gotten a great workout there not crowded full of people just in the way not knowing what to work on. And the environment was just key to get a great workout not like a Golds gym where a bunch of people just slamming weights around. Very friendly and family oriented.

Great location, very polite staff and facilities are well taken care of.
1) the staff! All of the staff I interact with are so friendly and ready to help.
2) the kid zone has allowed me to still work out while being a single mama
3) group fitness! Zumba has truly changed my life. I have so much fun with such a wide variety of people.
I truly feel that the Y is for EVERYBODY and that's what makes it so great.
The pool is very busy. It is hard to find a lane your don't have to share before work. After work is impossible because of the swim teams. I did find the pool mostly empty at 7 pm on Friday. Durham needs more pools that are open to public outside of summer.
I still enjoy the pool very much. It is just busy, busy, busy.

I really enjoy my H2O fitness class with Sumia. She is an excellent instructor & the participants are friendly & engaging. The front desk staff are friendly & efficient & the pool staff is helpful & caring. They even went out of their way to find my towel that had been picked up by mistake by someone else. These recent impressions mirror the excellence I have experienced in the “upstairs” gym in the past. …..AND my health goals are feeling more & more attainable. Thank you for the excellence.
