I like the structure and variety of activities that my son can participate in. Drop off/Pick up are very smooth and the staff take time to speak with me if there are concerns, or just to say he had a great day.

The classes are just as described. Every instructor i have had has been amazing. Lots if classes to choose from.
So far I like it but I've only been a member for 2 days so it would be better to ask me after I have more experience. My first impression is wonderful, the quality and number of classes and facility and everybody on the staff has been super friendly. Even the members are super friendly. So far so good!
I have met some great friends at the Y over the past 25 years!! Even my spouse!! We ran together and worked out together for a few months - then fell in love. Great experiences there!!

The Alexander YMCA is a great place. I have been a YMCA member at downtown YMCA's in three cities, all much larger than Raleigh. Alexander YMCA staff, facilities, programs, classes and equipment are excellent, often times surpassing these larger peer YMCA's.

This has been a great experience for my child. He has enjoyed the counselors and the other kids. I truly appreciate the open communication. My child had a few negative interactions with another student and when I voiced concerns, they were taken seriously. The issues were addressed and there have not been any other issues.
