The staff is very friendly. It’s very clean, and I love the classes. (Especially Stacey’s Stepcore class!) the little incentives for repeatedly coming back are nice too. (I used to work at the Y so it feels like being back at home too.)
Folks are polite, happy and professional. The Y has a good supply of classes.

The Alexander YMCA checks all of the boxes. The staff are encouraging and that helps make me want to come back and keep up my regular fitness routine. The facility is welcoming, with its bustling lobby area, and well maintained. The locker room is clean and affords enough privacy that it creates a relaxing atmosphere. Parking is ample at the times I visit. I try to make visit to the Y a regular part of my daily routine.
Really appreciate the layout of the weight areas. Like the variety of equipment. I actually like quite close to a different Y but drive to Alexander due to the weight room.
Great hello as I walk in. Very attentive staff. Clean pleasant atmosphere. The pool is my favorite. Plenty of parking, the building and grounds are very presentable and clean. The gym is stocked with great equipment. Thank you

It’s a great place to workout with an excellent selection of equipment. Hands down the best gym for anyone, including those like me on a tight budget! Plus the indoor pool and sauna are exactly what’s needed after your workout! Did I mention that they have aerobic classes, the list goes on and on!

Great staff - top of the line equipment - lots of machines and free weights so it's rare to have to wait for equipment - never too crowded.

Nice, big facility, convenient location and parking, lovely studio space, and good group fitness instructors. Selfishly, I do wish there were more class times in the afternoon so I could pick up my child from school and come straight there, instead of having to drive back home (20 min away) and come back later.
Can we replace the chains in the ergs? They are pretty run down at this point.
All amazing, the staff, the programming and the facility
It’s a very friendly and non-judge mental place! Instructors are great! But please turn the AC back on and keep it cool when appropriate. Since the AC was replaced, it’s been too hot more often than not.
Modern clean facilities with adequate parking nearby. Staff and volunteers are very friendly and helpful.

I've been a YMCA member since 2003. I took a break from April 2020-this year so it is so good to be back. Since coming back I've gotten my sister's family to join in Apex where they live. It's always felt like home to me. Thanks for all that you do!
