I like the new yoga room. Also the substitute teacher was great and the time of the class is good for me. I am retired but not an early bird so many of your classes do not work for me. I joined Alexander Y in 1989 when I was working downtown. I find that as I have aged most of your programming is focused on younger members so doesn't work for me. I still think you have the best pool and weight floor but I have to rotate among three branches to get my yoga needs met.

the youth basketball refs are incredible - Ghey care so much about teaching the kids. We're so grateful for them. they bring the energy and truly care for the kids - thanks for hiring great people!
New to the Alexander YMCA but have gone to AE Finley for years, I am so excited to explore the range of classes and the staff has been amazing so far!

Hours and people
I love the YMCA for the Thrive exercise classes and friendly staff. The Y is always clean and has an efficient check in process. The teachers are friendly and skilled, providing modifications as needed. The locker room is large and spacious. The upstairs weight room has multiple machines, bikes, treadmills and two areas to stretch. I like the mini lockers in the upstairs area to conveniently store my purse. I am a fan of the recumbent bikes and will watch HGTV shows while I pedal. There are plenty of sanitary hand wipes available throughout the Y to wipe down equipment. They also provide towels at the front desk. The indoor pool is a big advantage. I love to swim laps in their pristine pool. It’s always a pleasure to visit Alexander Y!

I Like everything about the family ymca. It is spacious. Very user friendly and there are many different types of classes for everyone.. I go there every other day and I ALWAYS feel better after I workout there.

I love Bryon's Cardio Dance class and wish it was offered more than once a week at this location. I realize he teaches at other Y locations too, but really enjoy taking the class in the full gym space where there's plenty of room to move around.
Also the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful.
