great place
100% Excelent
I really enjoyed,it's a really a nice place
Alexander YMCA is a safe place to get a good work out no matter what time you come. Classes are varied and at all times of the day, so I was able to go when I was working and now that I am retired. The atmosphere is warm and friendly.
Nice facilities; friendly, helpful staff
I'm new, so I am answering on "vibes-only" at the moment. The staff was friendly and the facilities are nice and well-kept.
Kidzone and parent's night out, great classes and instructors!
Oh Jeez, I have filled this out before.
I have been a member for 37-38 years. The Y is familiar, it is close by, it has a lot of sunshine coming in and most all of the equipment that I need, more on that later, I have many acquaintances there, I like the staff and have a special relationship with a few of them. I have know First name removed Ham and Brad Davis since they were College Students. It feels, for the most part, like a safe place, I am a bit guarded here because of a recent theft from one of the lockers of a friend, and, a couple of aggressive members. So, I like the space and the location and I know a lot of people there.
Friendly staff and clean surroundings. Makes my visit very comfortable.
Thank you!
Classes staff. Convenience variety of options
Great pool; great body pump
The fitness classes are very good and very easy to get into.
I go to multiple Y’s in the area. This one is the most friendly and professional. Everyone makes me feel at home. Great instructors and great classes. My ONLY complaint is not enough 10 and 12 pound weights in studio 2 downstairs. A 72 year old should not have to lug 45 pounds down the steps EVERY class and I am there ten minutes before start time.
Friendly staff, Clean facilities and bright atmosphere.
Nice bigger more machine
There is so much to do. Lots of machines for exercise, so many classes, aerobics classes in a studio or in the pool, cycle classes inside and outside, yoga, many fitness classes, an inside track for walking/running, opportunities for basketball, pickle ball, a separate space for the youth, a steam room and sauna, lots of towels for showering. And did I mention a warmed towel when getting out of the pool?
Y of the Triangle memberships are so worth it. I love having access to a variety of equipment at the Alexander location. I bring friends on the 7-day free trial. It would be great if there was a guest pass/day pass system for people who have already done the trial or are traveling from out of town.
Friendly, helpful and clean
The pool is great. The gym facility meets my needs and standards. I like the diversity of people that are there.
awesome staff, great facilities, clean, wide variety of classes and exercise options.
I love the classes and pools and Camp Seafarer/Seagull and Y guides.
My membership is one adult and dependents. I'd love for the 2 adults and dependents to be more discounted. My husband would love to join but for $150+ per month it is not justifiable at this time. Or lower priced guest passes for pool only visits. Also my kids are 8 and 10. They don't love going to kids care anymore. It would be neat if they could exercise (kids classes) or swim under supervision of a YMCA employee while I'm exercising.
Thanks for all you all do!
I feel comfortable there. Not too crowded. Love the pool. Don't have to wait for equipment. Nice staff.
