The entire place basically except the workout room needs to be upgraded. Go check out Westport and Greenwich. Your membership would sky rocket!
I love the pool and Zumba gold and the active senior fit. They offer good classes for the seniors.
So much nicer than Stratford ymca
The men’s shower keeps running out of hot water. I am new to the club, when I asked how to use the TV on the elliptical machine four people tried ti help me and did not know how to use it.
There needs to be more accessibility to lap swimming.
Increasingly more lanes are being occupied by classes, leaving fewer lanes and/or less time available for non-class lap swimmers to use. For example, currently, there is a triathlon class on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30 leaving one lane, if at all. After the class, lanes are available but only for a 15 minute time slot which realistically makes no sense for anyone wanting to get any decent lap swimming done. I will not be driving down, changing my clothes only to swim for 15 mnutes, let's be real. Why not schedule these classes that allow for a realistic, practical amount of time such as 60 minutes at the VERY least, leaving at least 2 lanes during a class, at the VERY least. This week on Tuesday, it looks like there is virtually no lane available for non-class lap swimmers in the evening at all. What next? Fridays, are already (and have been) extremely limiting in pool usage and now Tuesdays are taken away. When does it end?
Personally, I pay my membership only to use the pool and it's really frustrating when that for which I pay for is increasingly getting difficult to access. I don't come in to use the gym. I don't need to pay $70+ to use a gym. I can do the same for $10 a month elsewhere. What I pay for is to use the pool. As someone with a full-time day job, I look forward to getting a solid amount of physical activity. But this is more than just a fitness routine, it's mental wellness. The pool is more than just a team sport warehouse, it is a source of health and wellness for many, not just myself,
I enjoy the group classes - especially Flex & Balance
I like the teachers and my classmates. The teachers are well trained and very personable; I have made friends with so many wonderful people.
The pools and the array of programs for older adults.
pool class, close to home
The only thing I would love to have is a locker. I would be willing to lease/rent a locker.
The people are nice and very helpful - the gym has everything you need to keep yourself in shape.
Beautiful, clean environment and extremely friendly and competent staff!!
Friendly staff and members. Very clean facilities and well equipped.
Replace the lower bike machines with some reliable, easy to use ones that don't require a degree in IT to adjust the viewing options or don't run out of time every time a user is changed.
(With all the Y spends on equipment, you should have a dedicated sales rep to adjust any needed situations on a weekly basis).
we are so lucky to have the place where we are able to maintain our total health, physical and mental, among active people who find a second life outside our home.....Anne and Frank
Need a few more treadmills
It has a little of everything to do but it should be updated some. But love going there no hazzle
Pleasant environment. Terrific staff!
Healthy exercise, pools, programs, classes
It is clean and I can use the equipment in the gym. And staff have helped me in the past.
Everyone is very nice place is always clean
The cost should be better differentiated; I am semi-retired - 60 and pay $106 a month for me and my son and then $70 an hour for personal training. For me I can join Joint Effort for $187 per month - unlimited and that is a personal training place. I don't use the pool and so I feel like I am paying for others people to use the pool. A lot of my friends over 65 pay nothing, and a lot of young families with children pay little to nothing.
Friendly people, nice facility, good programs
I like the classes, teachers and resources,
The staff and instructors are wonderful, very professional, helpful and knowledgeable.
pool fitness center, staff
I took this survey not too long ago. Nothing has changed. I am very satisfied.
Choices for exercise programs.
Many of the adult fitness classes are poor.
Have each workout area fully supplied with equipment and a variety of choices to meet all levels of people in the class and the type of class being held ( including lighting/lamps) so they are not being moved from workout room to workout room depending on which class is running.
The basement workout room desperately needs hooks and racks to organize the equipment neatly, so not lying all around the room on the floor or on the bikes.
A WiFi extender in the basement would helpful when teachers are trying to connect for their music. I have experienced several times when it was an issue and issues with the speaker itself.

I love the staff. They are fun, friendly and gracious. I am an older adult so I only utilize the gym and some zumba classes. But EVERYONE is wonderful. The facility is always clean. And there is always someone around if you have a question and need help. Definitely an A+ operation
