I like the family friendly atmosphere and the newer equipment.
a great place to workout, especially during the winter
I accidentally put my daughter into what I thought was her swim class. It was 2 levels up and the instructor was SO PATIENT, and friendly. Thank you!! -Sofia/Sophia
Facility is well maintained and the staff is friendly. Dave with the Kickstart program was very helpful setting goals and developing a plan to achieve them.
I like the HITT class I take on Tuesday and Thursday at 8AM. It used to happen 3x a week at 730 which was a better motivator b/c it got me to the gym 3x for sure. Please add it with Lucretia a third time on a week day.
The Haselwood ymca is typically a positive, energetic place to be. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities available to suit member’s preferences. Both individual training and group classes are available. The hours of operation for the most part are great.
Friendly staff, clean building and equipment, variety of classes.
great place with lot of amenities and meeting place
I absolutely love my YMCA. The free weight/machine area has many options and fully equipped. The indoor track is great. Plenty of options for classes, swimming, kids sports, childcare. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is truly something for everyone at Haselwood. I also met my fiance at the Y and have made many friends here. It is a beautiful community.
The only thing keeping me from giving a 10 is the personal trainers do not seem to know what they are doing when helping beginners learn how to enter the world of resistance training. They have their clients do extremely unnecessary things... They do not need to be having 70 year olds trying to balance on Bosu ball while lifting weights (which I have seen with my own eyes). My only suggestion would be to give recurring training besides just simply passing an online certification course.
It is very modern and nice and clean.
Staff are friendly!
Only I wish we have more pickle ball times. I know it will be hard to make everyone happy. I wish we have at least two hours day time pickle ball hours like other YMCA.

As a disabled senior, we enjoy walking in the pool.
Please, would the cleaners of the 'universal' changing rooms place the mat in front of the benches? Those things are heavy to drag. We must sit on the benches to change/dress our clothes and the area in front of the benches are often wet (and muddy) when the mats are in the middle of room.
Thank you so much!.
P. S. If the rubber mats are also placed along the route to and from the pool, our canes will not slip out from under us. It is so scary and if we fall, we'll never be able to return to the pool!
