Lots of nice equipment
I was amazed how big, light and clean your facility is. I've been driving by for many years but always used the military facilities for free.
A few years ago I moved to Steilacoom and my friend who is a member persuaded me to try out the 3 free visits offered at this time.
I attended 2 yoga classes and a water aerobics class and I was pleasantly surprised by everything I experienced this far including that the water wasn't so cold as my experience with the military pools which are geared towards a younger crowd.
I also like that I don't have to get up at 0600 to attend the only water aerobics class that is scheduled early in the morning, but that there are various opportunities throughout the day or evening that I can attend when it fits my schedule.
I definitely will sign up when I go back this next time.

The Lakewood YMCA is a wonderful organization and I’m thankful that it is part of our community. The staff are kind and they make the facility feel like a very safe place for everyone.

I love the Muscle Up Daytime classes M-W-F 10:30. I would love to take a step aerobics class in the daytime

The staff and community all are like a family. I feel welcome and accepted as well as cared for and appreciated. The facilities are exceptional and clean and well maintained.
The option for daily swim amd extended care. Gaga ball and sprinklers and waterballoons on Friday.
All of the camp counselors are so kind! My daughter does different classes at the Y also, and when she runs into a counselor from camp, they always acknowledge her!
