The Lakewood Y is my Happy Place! I love coming here! The water aerobics classes and its instructors are amazing! I have lost over 100 lbs in 12 months doing water aerobics. The instructors play great music making it a fun place to workout and they switch up the exercises so it never gets and they are very encouraging and hi-five me a lot! I LOVE THIS PLACE!

The Lakewood Y is now the best in Pierce county!!! Keep the mens upper locker room in place with its steam room,and large area to change clothes,such as lockers and space.!!!
The new Pearl street re-model is a terrible waste of money,taking away all the benefits of the past Pearl mens locker room. What a shame.
Everyone is helpful and friendly. I like the values the Y promotes. I had an orientation to the Y and my first adult swim lesson and both were awesomw.

Dave helped me save money to make coming to the YMCA more affordable.
I live closer to the Morgan branch. I won’t go there anymore. They took away the weight machines that myself and other senior citizens used and replaced them with different ones in the new building that are awful. Complicated to use and not enough of them. Others are upset about it too. I will now only use the Lakewood branch. I was so relieved to see the two rooms filled with the weight machines that the Morgan branch took away. It’s very important for seniors to maintain muscle mass. Please don’t take those excellent machines away!
