The staff are always so kind, polite, thoughtful, and helpful. The spaces and equipment are very well cleaned. My kids love their classes. The gymnastics gymnastics is fantastic and the coaches are wonderful. My kids friendly fight over who gets Gabe for their gymnastics teacher. The drop-in zones for kids are fun and have lots of activities. My kids (especially my 3 year old) beg to go into the child watch. My kids are excited to go check out the books and play volleyball or borrow the rackets to play in the smaller courts. My older son loves the chess set in the lobby. I enjoy reading in the café area by the fireplace and windows when I get a few minutes to myself while all my kids are in class and/or child watch.

The Lakewood YMCA is a whole family experience for us. I'm the grandma, and I swim with my grandchild on Saturdays while her sister takes swim lessons. They enjoy PE classes at Lakewood. The aquatics director always comes and says hi when she is in the building. Coaches and former coaches are always encouraging them. I see many safety drills and procedures that keep everyone safe.
Their dad takes them to rock climbing and other activities, and my daughter takes them to dance, piano, and other classes at the Pearl Street location. I love that we have two amazing locations with excellent staff nearby.
I’m grateful for the program I have been going to Enhance Program! Because, it helps me to keep motivated in my life style proceedings to recover from my surgery. Also, meeting others members that attend the program. They are very nice and supportive when I mess up the routine, lol! I was not on board at the time because of my transportation getting there. But it worked out well for me to get there and I am now proceeding with my goal. I’m not very overwhelmed with life right now, but just trying enjoy my life as mid adulthood could

Played Pickleball, which I usually play outdoors. Nice group of players, so was an enjoyable experience.
Would suggest having some white balls available - orange is harder to focus on.

Into the gym in quite a few months. Started coming back and really the new layout of the weight missions, ease in many of the machines.
I’m trying to go every day for at least an hour to two hours get back into my routine.
The cost of the health club is kind of pie for me.
In particular, I like the free-weight room but miss the assisted pull-up machine. There are so many options available at the Lakewood location!

The Lakewood Family YMCA experience was great. Access to equipment was very good. They have everything I can imagine using though I haven't tried them all as of yet. I appreciate that it seems very family friendly. Not a "look at me, are you interested" gym. People of all ages, sizes, shapes and nationalities are here and seem very comfortable interacting with each other. I hope to only have pleasant memories of my continued experiences being a member.
