I actually worked here shortly after getting out of the military. I coached gymnastics, my family attended the gym as well. I have many good old memories here and now I'm creating new ones. Great place for you and your family.

Sometimes kids get really loud in the area outside our yoga class, and it's distracting. But it usually doesn't last too long.
I really like my fitness classes, Silver Fit combo and Chair Yoga. Walking is also one of my favorite form of exercise. I have many friends at the Y and enjoying meeting up with them on a regular basis. The one negative thing I have say, is that the classes I take are too crowded and sometimes I don’t think it’s safe for balance.
My experience at the y have been positive for the most part.

It's been a great experience working out at this location over the last few months almost coming up to a year and it's clean and the front desk staff are always welcoming and eager to assist and it has lots of work out equipment.
Friendly staff, the atmosphere is great! I've always had a positive experience while working out at the Y. Through pool aerobics, yoga classes, the Y has a lot of offer! I love it!

I love Mel Korum YMCA! It’s a great place to be for adult and kids. Group classes and exercises are fun, many options for kids to do to keep them busy. Also, all the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcomed.
Very broad exercise/workout opportunities and equipment. So I have access to nearly anything I would want in the workout arena. Also, the staff are all very helpful and friendly in my experience and that makes this YMCA experience enjoyable!
Employees are friendly and helpful… I’ve only used the walking track so far… Looking forward to starting to use other equipment and possibly look into some classes… I’ve only been a member for about a week, But for now I’m quite comfortable just coming in and walking for the time being

Mel Korum Family YMCA is an incredible blessing! Friendly, helpful staff, excellent locker/shower-room setup for families, clean facility and everything I could hope for in a place to support me as a Granny-Nanny. Adult/Toddler swim lessons, and tumbling are included in my membership instead of a tag-on. Thank You Mel Korum .
