Korum Day camp has been so positive for our family. I feel the cost is affordable and I feel good about the program and people caring for my children. They know them well and work hard to accommodate their needs and make it a smooth transition from school routine to summer camp. My kids like the specialty camp options and they are flexible if they need to switch or want to repeat something they really liked. The same director and lead staff have been there for the years my kids have been with YMCA. It says a lot they they are able to keep quality leaders people in these challenging roles. I love the consistency from year to year of camp Counselor and leaders

Every time I go to pick up my kids, I can see that kids are cared for and engaged with and allowed to act like kids while being respectful kids. Whether it’s playing sports or in summer camp or just hanging out in the rec room, all the staff, my children have ever engaged with have been truly caring people. We have always been YMCA members no matter what state we lived in and we will always be YMCA members. It’s a culture I believe is important for society and I’m glad to have my kids participate.

This is the nice and best place I can recommend everyone, the stuff are very friendly and kind. The place is very clean.
The pool is a little bit cold, but other than that, I enjoyed my swim
I love this YMCA but I’ve experienced and seen Gena at the front desk being cold to myself and other members. At first I couldn’t tell if it was just her style and I was being sensitive but this morning I watched her get frustrated by a young mom lugging in two bags and her small child because they wanted to log in with their phone number. The mom asked if she was doing something to upset her and Gena responded with “it’s significantly more work for me to do it this way” it felt cold and unnecessary. On the flip side, I’ve had very positive experiences with her but every once in a while she seems to get frustrated with the members, myself included, for engaging with regular front desk tasks. She seems kind enough, but I don’t think members should be made to feel like a burden.
Everyone is polite. And there are lots of options for the whole family to connect with.

The classes are very useful I especially enjoy yoga (Patti ) and Pilates ( Megan and Colleen) asa well as ignite. Some machines near the large gym broken for longer than I liked ( few machines available) staff is friendly Rosanne Newell

The best among the best. Nice staff, easy access from Meridian, beautiful pool, best exercising equipment, nice track to walk. Been a member since before 2012.
