I love the YMCA community and it's great for my children. The downside is that when facilities close for the day the families aren't not well informed. Posting this information on the YMCA website is not sufficient enough. An email or text message needs to be sent out. I drove 40 minutes through traffic to get my daughter to her gymnastics and the facility was closed. We only use mel korum for gymnastics so it's not our normal YMCA facility. There has to be a better option than just posting it on the website. It was a disappointment for my child and a waste of gas and time.
They are family friendly, especaily with large families. I am so appreciative of all the sports my kids can get into while we homeschool, and the faith based verses on the walls are such an encouragement!

I had a wonderful experience at this swimming pool! The environment is clean and welcoming, creating a very pleasant atmosphere for everyone. The staff members are friendly and attentive, making sure that all guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. It’s a great place.
I love the individualized attention. I also appreciate that they don't just promote a child-they will hold them to learning the skills. It's also very cost effective.

I love the clean facility and friendly staff. There are a variety of classes too! The track is great, and lots of exercise equipment.
I love coming to the Y. I joined about a year ago . I love the gentle yoga, Zumba, and I walk on the treadmill about 4 to five days a week. The employees are always so friendly and I appreciate how they are always so welcoming.

My kids love the swim lessons at Mel Korum, the instructors are very patient and make my kids feel very comfortable in the pool and listening to instructions
I like the different levels of swimming for my kids to learn and they have a great time. My daughter loves her instructors and they make it fun for her!

I like that there are so many different times to choose for swim lessons at Mel Korum. I’ve been able to change lesson times to work with my changing schedule.
The instructor we had for our 3-year old twin grandchildren was very patient & engaging with the kids. This was their 1st time being in a teacher-led class without us in the water with them (adult/child swim previously). Matthew was their teacher and he was great! Thank you!

My boys and I absolutely love coming to the Y, they’re enrolled in multiple classes and then we come to swim in our free time too! My gf and I love that we can be active with all of our kids too! Utilizing the upstairs track for running as well as the child watch program to do our own lap swims twice a week!
