I love the cleaniless, professionalism and sense of community at the Mel Korum YMCA. We are very new members, but very much appreciate the culture and enviroment at this YMCA.
It's an all around warm and wonderful place with a great atmosphere. Friendly and caring staff and volunteers. Tons of things to do to stay fit and get healthy!

I like the mix of people at the gym. All ages, multi racial, hard core fit next to folks just walking, and so on. The staff is plentiful and first rate. Soooo helpful! It’s also so nice to see so many children at the exercise classes and in day care. What a great resource this must be young parents.

Being a member of the YMCA and having access to their multiple facilities has been one of the best gyms I've ever belonged to or visited. Mel Korum is my home gym. I've worked out at all but one of the YMCA's in Pierce County. They are all pretty good. Mel Korum is an Excellent facility! The staff is fantastic! They are great at working with members on every issue, do a great job taking care of the equipment, the pools, and keeping the entire place really clean. Can't say enough about how great they are.
