It is a very organized place. I think it has a diversity of activities which is very appropriate for the diversity of people and cultures found among the members.

We love the facility and the staff/instructors are amazing.
What we’re having an issue with is the number of kids in some of the classes. In Rock climbing there are so many children that our kids only get a few turns to climb and the instructors are so occupied they can’t focus and provide one on one instruction if needed. Additionally, the facility has a sign stating only 16 people in the rock wall area and there are a lot more than that in the class. Also, there are children in the beginners class that are clearly not beginners and because of this they take up more time on the wall and the actual beginners don’t get many tries to practice/learn because of the time taken to climb to the top by the more experienced students.
Pretty much everything. I’m glad the YMCA is there. Wonderful environment.
I wanted to send a HUGE thank you to the lifeguard, Haven, who caught my preschooler being way to confident and unsafe. I was too far away to catch him, but saw it happen and panicked! Thank you Haven for acting so fast - and for being so kind and professional as well. I appreciate you!
I attend shallow water aerobics most Monday’s, Wednesdays and Fridays. The instructors are amazing and make our workouts enjoyable. All other staff members have been very pleasant as I check in and always there to answer any questions. The facility is clean, showers are hot, no complaints about anything.

I love the clean, well-equipped facility. I like the fact that there is adequate air conditioning year round. The class offerings are adequate. The staff is great! They are professional and friendly.
The exercise classes are fun, and everyone at the Y is so friendly!

Love the selection of classes available and good instructors too.
Two ways to make it better, provide enough weights for the number of people in class. The ones I take always run out.
Secondly, the online schedule does not match the actual class schedules, so you can't go by that.
Friendly greeetings as soon as you coome in the door, but could use more suprevision at the track as kids are on it and parents don't always control that. We got started there because MultiCare was out health provider and had no pool in our Kent area at that time. We have looked at the new facility in Kent, but not as mucu to offer so will conitinue to drive the 20 miles each way from Balcl Diamond as long as we are able.
Not sure if anyone as training on how to treat a person who falls or passes out. I fell entering on a wet floor and staff members wanted to help me up. I had to get them to leave me down and call D11. I had a fracture in the upper leg and just under a new hip that had been put in. I don't think anyone from the office came out as far as I know.

The pool for lap swimming, even though there are many times I get forced out of my lane because of swimming lessons. I especially like the lanes with starting blocks so I can do pull ups.
I also enjoy playing pickleball in the gym.
Love the total friendly and helpful attitude from all the staff.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and safe environment.
When I enter the facility I am greeted warmly which helps me feel good at the start and when I leave I am also acknowledged, which makes for a very positive experience.
I love the pool. I've been swimming lanes for 30 years. Your pool is the best.i never ever have to fight for the lane, since the schedule for lane swimmers is friendly ,The water aerobics is mostly in the instructional pool unlike Sumner. There lane swommers are always disregarded. Thank you for your care.
My husband likes your stationary bikes. The whole atmosphere of your place is very caring and homy.
Love the gym. Great positive atmosphere.
Hopefully we can get back to pre-pandemic indoor cycling classes.
Any possibility of evening indoor cycling classes in the future.???
Bring in a good couple of spin instructors and you can build a program again.
