It is a great gym! There’s every type of machine imaginable, and more than one of the more popular ones. The pool is huge and has a nice area for the kids. The staff are also super nice and really helpful.
The variety of classes and services available at the Y are tremendous! The staff is friendly, courteous and skilled. Y 360 is also a good service when I am unable to come to the Y. I love watching the child care area as I walk the track. The caregivers are so patient. The social activities for seniors provide connections as well. Kudos for finding ways to accommodate and serve the needs of the community.
Facility is well maintained, great parking, staff are warm and welcoming, and the camaraderie of the other participants in the senior fit classes I take.

The design of Gordon Y with all the light coming and friendly people to meet you is real plus. I get nervous walking into places. The windows and open feeling help me get thru that.
My family joined the Y this past October, and have very much enjoyed our experience so far. I wanted to reach out to especially call out and give kudos to a few employees.
My 2 year old daughter has been going to the toddler gym with “Ms Eileen” on Fridays. Ms Eileen’s enthusiasm, joy, and ability to draw out and interact with all the kids is unmatched. She cares. She truly CARES about each child, and each parent. We were at my son’s swim lesson when my daughter heard Ms Eileen’s voice (teaching another class across the pool) and she could not be contained until she could go see her. We have since signed up for Ms Eileen’s swim class. And of course her swim class has been great too. With actual safety information, and skills, and fun and engaging (much more than the “chase after the duck” for the whole class experience that we’ve had with prior instructors)
The other employee I wanted to give kudos to is Amanda, who teaches my 4 year old son’s swim lesson. She is so sweet and patient with all the kids, and is so engaging with each child. She also has so many more skills and games and fun things she does with the kids than we’ve had with any other instructor. My son (and we) love and appreciate how much she cares.

Its a great place to work out and be social. The classes and instructors are amazing and they have classes for everyone depending on what your interests are.
