Friendly! The BEST.
My child loved coming to the summer camp. They had something to do everything day. My child enjoyed swimming with her friends. They got to make bracelets, slime, and a few other things. Staff is great. Miss Ala and Miss Shelby are two of her favorite counselors.
The staff has always found ways to go above and beyond to help support several of the boys I've fostered. They are excellent role models and just great people in general. My boys had the opportunity with the summer camp program to be involved in project competition and presentation to the City of Chandler, attend weekly field trips that included visiting colleges, radio station, baseball games, skating, water park, museums, the movies, etc. The boys really enjoyed the game room, swimming, the workout room, and the gym. This is so much better than the kids sitting around being lazy all summer!

The staff (especially Rich!!) are excellent— very friendly, attentive & enquiring regarding how to make our YMCA visit better. The equipment is great, the latest up-do-date with digital readouts (time, intensity, distance, etc.) The place is always very clean.

I love the Tempe Y. Great staff and great facilities. Best gym I’ve ever been to. I wish they had a stationary bike in the main weight area instead of just the spin studio.

Kids are able to truly work at the fit. Players opinionally immediately me meet other children. The environment is fun and safe. Parents are able to work out. It really is a ten for kids However, it would be better if the cost was a little more affordable.
Similar age group on the machines.
(I don't like going to a gym where a young person sits on the machine watching their phone so you can't use it. Or someone alternates on two machines so they are both occupied although not being used most of the time.)

It is such a pleasant place to be and workout.
The staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. I like the updated look throughout, it is beautiful, and I like and the new workout areas. It is also cleaner now than in the past. I love that there is no loud music and other noise, like at other gyms, except during times when the young kids are in the large gym area.

The membership is provided free through my insurance. I am a senior citizen, participating in the water aerobics program.
The fans at Tempe Y aren't working properly. It get stuffy without fans in back area.
