I joined in December as I am a "snowbird" from Minnesota. I use the Hastings Y when I am there. The front desk was helpful in finding the best rate for me. I like the atmosphere it's a nice blend of people from different age groups.
It is a great diverse community that fixes lots of different interests.

I love the Y. I have been a member since 1992. I was teaching then and so could only go during the summer. But I loved it. I have retired and have used the Y three to four times a week and I live far away from it. I love the people who work there and the facilities are so much better than they used to be. It looks nice and is painted. I am hoping the pool will be more available this summer and am disappointed the spa was taken out, but it did not work half the time anyway.
Overall, I am very pleased with the Tempe Y. I have recommended it to so many people already.

The Y is a wonderful place to exercise, as well as socialize! The facility is clean, bright and not too crowded.
There are many things I enjoy at the "Y" first being warmly greeted when I walk in, next the friendly people that I work out with. The 1st Friday socials are great way to meet and greet with people you see all the time but never take the time to chat with.
There are many classes to take advantage of for both body and sprit.

Staff members at the Tempe Y are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The exercise facility and equipment are well maintained and there is a wide variety of strength and cardio machines. I love Donna's Yoga class. She is a great instructor!

I LOVE THE INTIMACY OF THE YMCA. I LIKE THAT IT IS NOT CROWDED WITH PEOPLE ARGUING OVER THEIR TURN ON THE EQUIPMENT.. I LIKE THE OFFERED CLASSES THAT SER E THOSE WHO ARE NOT WARRIOR ATHLETES BUT JUST FOLKS TRYING TO DELAY TIMES RAVAGES ON OUR BODIES. I LI,E MODESTLY DRESSED PARTICIPANTS AND THE WHISTLES AND SHOUTS OF KIDS PLAYING BALL. I LIKE TO SEE THE DIVERSITY OF THE MEMBERS WHOSE ETHNICITIES MIRROE THAT OF MY NEIGHBORS. I LOVE THE DEDICATED AND FRIENDLY STAFF WHO MAKE ME FEEL LIKE I HAVE JUST CO E HOME EVERY TI E I WALK THROUGH THE DOOR.
