I love everything about the Y. I do wish the pool was heated and that it was open for more hours, but otherwise than that, I love it. The past couple of years the place has been painted and updated, new floors, the outside was redone. It just looks great. I have been a member of
the Tempe Y since around l992. I would not trade it for any of the fitness places even though
it is kind of a far drive for me.
The staff is friendly. What more can I say. I love the Y.
The Y is convenient to my home, accessible by main routes. The staff members are professional, friendly and knowledgeable of services offered. The facility is well kept and if maintenance issues arise it is taken care quickly. I will recommend the Y to all.

Everyone is very nice and accommodating
I've been a Y member on/off since I was a child. I got my swim lessons there and my mom regularly attended a spin class where she made many friends. Y members/employees became family friends that were invited to birthdays, graduations, and other family events. I worked at the Y in high school and am now working there to support myself through graduate school. Members have commented on how "we're not like other gyms" because we don't have buff gym bros or tik tok influencers clogging up the gym. We are truly a family friendly gym and help those who just want a good workout!
Our healthy back yoga class feels like the most meaningful group experience we have these days. We totally value Donnas inclusive and thoughtful class.
