We’ve only had one lesson so far but I was very impressed with the efficiency of the staff/lessons and how much they pack into a half hour. Excellent child/teacher ratio. The swim teachers were kind, patient and had a good grasp on how much each kid could handle. My 3yr who hates going underwater was proud of himself by the end of the lesson and came running over “I went underwater and I didn’t even cry!”
The teachers interact well with the students which helps with the small group size.
The WERQ classes are worth the membership alone. The teachers are phenomenal.
I love the basketball courts. I wish the track was bigger. Bring back the teen zone.
I enjoy the variety of classes available, especially the Les Mills Bodypump class. I have made many friends there and continue to feel the transformative effects of that class. The app is easy to use and updates are added quickly. I feel like a family member there and value the efforts of the YMCA to provide quality classes for retirees like myself.

I do wish there was kidzone availability for a few hours on Sunday but otherwise the Y is a saving Grace for our whole family.
