Member Testimonials
I like everything that they offer. I think everyone is very friendly and inviting. I use the pool for the classes and the track. Instructors are wonderful. It’s clean and I love everything about it!
Big warm pool, nice walking track, plenty of equipment
That the Y accepts 'One Pass".
Clean facilities, not a long wait time for equipment and machines, friendly staff.
I feel that the Y is more than a place it work out, it is a second family. To instructors and other Y members. It is a 10 all the way.
I love the water fitness classes.
All the staff members are helpful for whatever you ask. There is always a smile on their faces.
The positive people and atmosphere
Easy access. Lots of machines. Helpful staff. Clean facilities.
Family facility. welcoming environment
a really nice place nice people
Overall, great facility.
But when I looked at the newly built showers, I hated the open, no-privacy showers.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and organized!
Clean welcoming environment
Nice people, nice environment and close to home
This location has good parking, clean and welcoming to guests, and nice family locker rooms!
It's our neighborhood Y. It's friendly, clean, and fun. We get active and have a lot of options for things to do!
I like the staff and the community involvement the Y offers. That is a big plus.
One thing I don't like is that there is no way to find on the website the pool or gym schedule for a given day. This would be an online version of the paper copies posted around the facility. For example, I would like to know when swimming lessons or open swim occur and thereby reduce the number of lap lanes available. The app shows programs and lessons, but not schedules. I find that very frustrating because it should be a relatively easy thing to show online.
Everyone here is very friendly and helpful! From being greeted at the entry to a friendly hello or encouragement while working out, the staff here are awesome! Also, the equipment is modern, well-maintained, and kept clean. I've done a few group classes, but used to really enjoy yoga classes here. It would be awesome to have a steam room and/or sauna, but the hot tub and pool is great as well.
Classes and people.
I was impressed by how friendly everyone was.i felt welcomed as soon as I entered your beautiful and clean building. I have only taken water classes so far and I am excited to try all that the Y has to offer
The Wolverine Y is accessible, especially when I have other errands in the area. The pool has limited lanes but there is usually at least one open. Parking is less of a hassle than downtown.
I enjoy walking on the track. It’s a great place to walk no matter what the weather is doing outside. I also enjoy the pool very much. It’s clean and just the right temperature. I can swim around at my own pace. Also the locker room is clean. I haven’t tried any of the exercise classes yet but plan to do so very soon. I sure hope that the membership fee will be free to me through Medicare advantage next year.
Great community
Staff and other members are friendly and helpful to this new member. It is becoming like an exercise family.
Clean & good variety of workout equipment
The pool
I like all the ways I can choose to work out. There is a nice assortment of cardio and strength training equipment to choose from, along with classes, sports ( paddleball, volleyball...) and swimming. I never get bored.
Facility clean, well-lit, equipment works, personnel friendly and helpful
