This is our first basketball league and I loved how intentional the coaches were and making sure that every child had a chance to practice every skill. Coaches do a great job mediating games and making sure that children are practicing passing skills as well as giving every child an opportunity to shoot, we would absolutely do this program again just based on the responsible and intentional coaches. The coaches on my son's team (and all the other teams we played).
We love this Y! The walk track is nice and large, pool and hot tub are great, exercise machines are a nice bonus, employees are friendly and helpful! A well-run YMCA👍🏼

Flexibility in the hours of operation.
Best family pool by far out of all of the YMCA's we've been to. Could be better staffed though, since it hit capacity pretty early and people had to wait.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. The instructors are awesome and the group fitness classes are great. Could use a little more coffee! It’s always out😬

The SpartanNash Y is great in many ways. Everyone is always so helpful and those at the front desk are ALWAYS so friendly and welcoming!

The programs are great, but the youth leagues are not that great. I don’t think people should be able to request coaches or if so, those teams could be in a more competitive league vs the others. Most often, there are 1-3 teams stacked with kids who are much taller and more developed and I’m guessing they are requesting coaches/kids. It makes it really tough when the teams are uneven. Even though basketball and soccer leagues don’t keep score, kids do. Just a suggestion.
