So many options for types of exercise. The pool is excellent option for people with arthritis and other restrictions.
The aerobic swimming classes and the lap pool I enjoy them both makes me feel better when I’m done. Exercises will b the 2nd to do.
INSTRUCTORS ARE VERY NICE and people are great that work. at the front desk.

The two things we liked the most was the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness.
Both of those areas have slipped significantly in the past 90 days unfortunately.
Lots of new people at the reception desk and the desk upstairs- new people are focused on their phones, rarely greet you :-( Carlton remains a bright , friendly, engaged staff member...new people are starkly indifferent in contrast.
And the ladies bathroom upstairs has continuous problems with the handicap toliet leaking - leaving wet floor and a slip hazard. And the other toilet upstairs is not available 3/4 of the time.
I have also mentioned the air vent, or return up above the lockers upstairs is filthy...and remains caked with black dirt.
The class instructors are great.
We have made a number of friends among our fellow members, and I hope those two areas of concern can be addressed so the Spartan Nash gets back to being excellent!
Track pool hot tub
I love the group fitness classes!! Specifically pilates and Barre - the instructors, Jennifer and Alison, are absolutely wonderful

Great team members make working out there easy.
I have already recommended classes at the YMCA Spartan Nash to a bunch of my exercise friends from our local town recreation center… I believe at this time, I have had at least 6 people start coming to this particular YMCA!!
Everything! It’s clean, staff are friendly, childcare is great, everything is easy to access and use.

We are moving to this area of town soon and decided to try out the SpartanNash branch of the YMCA. We absolutely loved the pool! Super family friendly, warm water, clean changing areas, and friendly staff. We are looking forward to going more often!
The variety -- there are aa wide variety of people that utilize this Y. There is also aa variety of equipment and lots of other options available.

The building and equipment are always clean. The Y team are always friendly and helpful. Our family has had Y memberships for over 40 years. Now my son and his family are enjoying a family membership. Thanks for so many years of providing a safe and healthy environment not just for our family but all the families we see and interact with at every visit.
The Y has great peolple helping all of us and the falacaties are always very clean.
Staff and patrons were kind and welcoming! My kids are old enough to participate in workouts with us and are excited to come back!
