Kids love aqua park
I love convenience, kids know lots of other kids, and counselors are great.
Really like the diversity of kids and counselors.
My 7 year old daughter LOVED Camp at the Lake rain or shine.
Firstly, my kids love it. The always have a great time and can't wait to go back. Secondly, as a parent, the camp day is organized and well run - I feel safe with my kids there all day.
Love that the kids have different activities and themes throughout the days and weeks.
It was an absolutely wonderful experience for my daughter. She couldn’t wait to go to camp every day. I am looking forward to her moving up to junior village to take part in more of the activities next year!
Aqua mat and Aquapark was an absolute hit!
My son (senior village) loves the counselors and swimming in the lake. I love that he is excited to get up each morning and is exhausted at night.
It was a great camp!
It was fun and a great experience. Undoubtedly coming back next year.
The Camp at the Lake Counselors are GREAT! My grandson thoroughly enjoyed each day. The activities are super fun and there's never a dull moment. What I most love about his camp experience is how personable the counselors are. Camp at the Lake is the BEST!!!
My children came home with stories and experiences that the great environment could only provide. I look forward to next summer.
Great counselors, activities. Bus pick up/drop off was convenient. Well organized.
Both my kids (ages 7 and 9) had an amazing time! The camp was very well organized and super fun... they came home happy and exhausted!
My son absolutely loved the experience at the camp. His only compliant was swim classes. He is a good swimmer and while he could learn more, the instructors did not get in the water and rarely were providing any new knowledge. Otherwise, he loved archery, fishing was a big hit, obstacle course, and Gaga pit.
We visited Camp at the Lake on Family Day and we thought the grounds were very charming. Our kids seem to love the activities (especially Aqua Park), and generally come home happy with positive things to say every day.
My kids loved camp. They had a great summer. However, there were definitely some activities they enjoyed more than others. Perhaps camp can develop a system for choice time. For example, during a certain schedule block, campers would chose the activity they wanted to do. This would allow campers to have extra time in their favorite activity. Also this would allow campers to mix with other kids and age groups. Alternatively, maybe you can incorporate some activities choice during registration to allow campers to customize their experience. I think this would really increase engagement for campers.
My kids had a great time and got to try new activities. I like them having daily swim lessons. The lost and found at park street is the nicest, cleanest, and most organized L&F I’ve encountered. It took several attempts but I recovered all lost items.
I felt disconnected from their group/counselors as there is no adult interaction or introductions (unlike new discoveries). It would be nice to get a list of counselor names and the group in the prep email the prior week. Bus counselors were helpful and followed protocols.
The counselors are amazing! My kids love it and the counselors make them feel right at home. They always have a great time!
CATL is our daughter’s favorite thing! She loves everything about it. We’re so thankful that she gets to spend every day outside and is learning new skills weekly. The counselors are fantastic and it’s so well run!
Our family loves the outdoor, rustic, old-fashioned camp experience that Camp At The Lake offers. The staff are great. The programming this year was reminiscent of pre-pandemic times. Family days are perfect! My 12 year old daughter had a wonderful time this summer & is already talking about her return next summer.
Each day's activities and weekly themes are great! The counselors are awesome with the kids. PLEASE BRING BACK FRIEND REQUESTS!!!!! I understand you want kids to mingle with others, but many of the kids who attend camp at the lake don't live in the same town or go to the same school. Some of these kids will never see each other again. Hence I think its important for those of us who want to send kids to camp with a friend have an opportunity for them to be in the same group together so they can build on their existing friendship. They will still be able to meet others. Please reconsider.
We loved the feedback we received from our camper. She attended camp the week of July 31st. She learned to paddleboard and kayak and had a great time with archery! We will for sure see you next year.
Kids get the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors
My son loved the structure and varied activities of camp at the lake.
What I like most about CATL is my son is outdoors and active every day.
He gets to meet new kids every summer, spends time with friends he already knows and he gets to see the kids he only sees during camp.
One of his favorite activities is OLS. He hopes to be a camp counselor when he is old enough.
Our kids love the camp at the lake and the counselors. Staff is always super friendly and focused on giving the kids a great summer experience.
My kids love it & for me it's well run.
My son had a blast. It was his favorite summer activity.
I love that my son comes home dirty and tired from a full day of playing outside. I love the natural camp experience and inclusion of the property for hikes and use of the stream. I love that while he is a strong and experienced swimmer he still has swimming lessons to further his ability. I love that he has been able to take advantage of all that the lake has to offer (boating, swimming, fishing, paddle board) he has learned so many of these skills at camp and has been a great teacher to his parents on family vacations. My list could keep going.
The counselors are the gems of the Camp at the Lake program and experience. I can't say enough good things about the level of passion that the counselors bring each day so many of them year after year. Such amazing role models, teachers and friends. My son is talking now of wanting to be a counselor himself and talks about the CIT program in the future
As a parent I appreciate the continued office diligence to evolving the administrative items in positive ways. Like the inclusion of a Y specific medical form this year. So much easier than trying to cobble one together on my own like last yr.
My kids had a blast! They played outside, made friends.

My kids loved camp!
