Best summer ever! I’m so sad I wasn’t able to get in 2 years ago. My sons are 11 and 13 this summer and he has enjoyed every moment. I was concerned he would be too old but it’s been perfect. The communication from the camp has also been great with keeping parents informed.

Great counselors, great outdoor time.
My daughter had a great time. Her only complaint was that she wished she had more time to try fishing and she didn't like the swim lessons. Otherwise, she loved it.
The counselors are great and my kids have enjoyed it now for the second year.

My sons have been going to Camp at the Lake for the past three summers. Although we do a lot of activities during most summers, their time at Camp at the Lake is always one of their favorites. This year, CatL was second only to Disney World. They love the water activities and the fact that the counselors keep them busy with interesting, creative games. We'll be back next year.

I like several things:
- the camp is located outside of Montclair, getting the kids closer to raw nature
- the variety of activities
- the mix of kids
- that devices are forbidden!!
My son loves going to CATL. He is an outdoorsy kind of kid and he loves nature and exploring. This is definitely the place for him.
He can’t wait to be old enough to be a camp counselor and work at the Y.

Every year is fantastic, but the registration timeline is very tough. It took until two weeks after registration opened for us to know enough about our summer plans to plan weeks at camp. By then August was already sold out. We entered the wating list but did not get all the weeks we hoped for an had to make alrternative plans and did not know if we would get in at all until right up near the time camp started. My kids have been going to CATL for around 8 years and the disruptive and uncertain experience was not great. Camp itself was fantastic as always.
Great outdoor activities, counselors are engaged, swim lessons, aquapark, kids learning independence through the right amount of freedom. Thanks for a great summer!
Camp at the Lake was a great experience for our daughter. The staff was wonderful and created a very enriching and inclusive environment for her. We can't wait until next summer!
My son had an amazing time and loved all the activities especially kayaking and the aqua park! His swimming as advanced as well! Highly recommend!

My son always has a great time at camp at the lake but says he doesn’t want to go back because the porta-potties are so gross. He did say he found a nice one in the last day.
