All 3 of my kids have been Camp at the Lake campers for the past 3 years, and they LOVE it! They look forward to it every year (Color Wars Week is their favorite)! I was so nervous about a full-day 100% outdoor camp (what about the lake, the weather, the rain the BUGS?!), but they are the least bit concerned about that stuff. They do SO many activities and don't even miss the devices or the TV while they are there! They come home hungry, exhausted and full of stories about their daily adventures. Camp at the Lake's family day is also top tier! It's the camp experience I wish I had as a child.

The kids really enjoy everything about camp. As parents we love that camp includes transportation and a variety of activities.

My only dislike is that there is no lunch served.
I wish there was an option for an extra add on cost to have lunch served. (With a few easy kid approved options)
Ben loves Camp at the Lake so much that he dreams of becoming a camp counselor. The staff are professional and assertive. They are easy to talk to and have a good handle on the kid.

My child had so much fun and did so many great activities
My boys love the gaga pit and aqua park. They have been going to CATL for three years now. They are learning about science and nature while having fun. They are building friendships and wonderful memories with other campers and camp counselors.

My kids have loved CATL. This is their 4th year and it's always great for them.
This was my son's first year doing Camp at the Lake and he really enjoyed it! He's age 7 and was in Junior Village and he came home daily with stories about new friends he made. The Color Wars day was a highlight and he talked about it all weekend! Though he said the days were long, he was also disappointed that he did not get to stay late for aftercare. A few things he didn't like were the port-a-potties and how long it took for everyone to line up and change at the end of the day.
My daughter loved camp and all the different activities. Thank you for a great couple of weeks!

This is our third year with Camp at the Lake. Our little "rookie" joined this year and she loves it as well. The counselors, CITs and life guards are all very nice, and the activities are all entertaining. Kids look forward to their three weeks at the lake very summer. So glad this is offered, and bus stop is not too far from home.
My daughter complains about every camp she goes to. This was not the case with Camp at the Lake. She loved it!

Camp at the Lake is a wonderful experience. My son looks forward to it every year and won't consider any place else. We have been attending since kindergarten and he is in senior village now. He would like to sign up for CIT.
Everything! The water, games, other campers and fun activities.
This is our girls' first year at camp on the lake (ages 5 and 7), and we have been blown away by the experience. They have gained so much confidence in swimming, making new friends, etc. They especially love the aqua park, 'camp songs' and spirit stick contests. Having the opportunity to visit the Camp for "family day" was such a heartwarming experience for all of us. Thank you! We greatly appreciate the YMCA Camp on the lake and all you do for our community at large.
