I was in a bad accident in 2018 which left me unable to work. I was isolated and became very depressed. I joined the Y and started attending water fitness classes. The Y literally saved my life. It helped me socially, physically, mentally and emotionally. I am more fit now than I have ever been. I have a great group of friends. The Aquatics staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging, upbeat, positive and dedicated to their jobs. I can’t say enough about this amazing program.
I like the therapy pool classes. But you really have to show up early for some of the classes or you are closed out. Can you offer more class times. I know you can go in regular pool but the water is cold especially if you are a senior. I know the swimmers like it colder So I don’t have an easy solution.
I love my YMCA. Would like to get back to Zumba Gold or a dance exercise class. Forever fit is great and if present attendance is anything to go by, more classes like this would be welcomed. Well done everyone in northwest.

I love the variety of classes offered to active older adults & the awesome instructors who lead us. They make the classes fun and encourage us to work hard to stay young and healthy.
There is a great variety of exercise options. Plenty to choose from forall age groups.

Keep up the good work. By the way, you need more lifeguards like Scott. Many of your younger lifeguards are not cordial or acknowledging unless spoken to, but Scott is great.

The Northwest Family YMCA is an amazing experience from the time you enter and leave with the front desk. The HIIT class and Les Mills Body Combat class are well instructed and motivating. Jennifer, Sandyjo, Tia, Denise and Bryant do amazing jobs teaching the Aqua classes as well as the Aqua Kickboxing instructor. All the lifeguards are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Olivia and Tia do a phenomenal job with the Aqua program. The Writing Classes from the downtown Y Center are very professional, provide amazing feedback and the instruction is excellent. The Active Older Adult walking club is well planned and an incredible experience and great addition to the Northwest Family YMCA. The staff and members are truly inspiring.

We absolutely enjoy the YMCA every single day as a family. I love all the fitness classes and most importantly we really enjoy the prime time and primetime plus childcare. The ability to take care of appointments and other important matters while my child is in a safe and welcoming environment is a game changer! Thank you for doing all that you do!!

I am enjoying my monthly membership and have started exercising again on a regular basis. The staff is very friendly and other members are very nice and considerate.
