CarePatrol was a lifesaver! I urgently needed help finding a memory care facility for my mother so that she could be discharged from a hospital stay. CarePatrol was recommended to me and was extremely responsive and efficient.
I appreciated how quickly the tours and information were arranged. I also felt cared for in that even though it was an urgent situation, I was given space to think about my decisions and did not feel pressured.
In addition, I reached out with questions having to do with pets and movers and again, the assistance was on-point and actionable.
Lastly, I was impressed by the follow-up and personal care she took to make sure that the placement was working out for my mother.
If I need to make a change or help a friend, I would go to CarePatrol in a heartbeat.
Emily Strickler did a fantastic job of helping us choose a facility for my brother starting with learning about my brother's current situation, his background, likes, interests and our concerns about his needs. During the interviews at the facilities she let us ask our questions and then asked the necessary questions that we did not think to ask.
Emily also attended the intake meeting with the facility we chose along with my sister since I am out of town and could not attend, to advocate for my brother.
I work for a Bank Trust Department and am very involved in the Chicago Elder Law Community and my organization is a sponsor of IL-NAELA. Because of my brother's situation, I sit on both sides of the table when dealing with the aging issue.
I highly recommend Care Patrol as a resource for family members helping loved ones as they deal with the aging process.

Jill, our advisor, is without a doubt the reason that we found a great place for our dad when we suddenly found ourselves in need of assisted living. She took a stressful, complicated, overwhelming process and was able to help us make sense of it all by helping us understand what was important, what questions to ask, and making sure we didn't waste our time on facilities that wouldn't be a good fit or didn't have availability. She focused on understanding our dad's needs, and she brought a tremendous amount of knowledge of not just facilities, but the broader assisted living ecosystem, including hospitals and rehabs, to help us navigate this stressful time. The representative for care patrol was very friendly very knowledgeable very helpful in a time where you’re looking to have a loved one placed in assisted living. It can be difficult. They answer every question went along to visit different facilities. They help you decide which facilities you want to go see based on what you’re looking for based on your budget. All of that was very helpful and they also follow up with you. They make that process more manageable and they try to take some of the worry away the representative that we had was Emily and she was awesome. She ease my anxiety about the whole process, and I love that she will exceeded my expectations.
