My family visited the FW location with the intent to trade up for a newer bike for a grandson. We found what he wanted, and worked the deal to allow for the trade in allowance. The dollar value for the trade was fair, and appreciated.
However, upon checking out, I questioned the sales tax applied to the list price, and not allowance for the trade in dollars which would reduce the true sales tax. I questioned and was told, your software is not programed to allow for the true cost involving a trade in.
If you were to trade you car in for a new model, you are allowed x and sales taxes are applied to the difference, not the msrp.
The manage was cordial tried to resolve the matter. Other than that experience, we found what my grandson wanted and he is satisfied.
